Just moved to the area and saw the Copper Crust when we visited the market. I tried my first cronut and am absolutely in love!!! It was hands down the best pastry I’ve ever had!!! I’m hooked and will totally be back to try more. My husband had the Paris Bun, and we loved that too. Absolutely amazing pastries, and the texture is so unique and delicious. Will be dreaming of Copper Crust sweets until our next visit!

Awesome place. Amazing food, ambience, and staff. I don’t really drink coffee, but my fiancé thinks it’s THEBOMB. I only have one complaint — they got my mom hooked on almond croissants and it’s tearing my family apart.

Started going to Copper Crust about 4 months ago on a regular basis. It is never a disappointment. From delcious breakfast sandwiches to the pastries, everything we have had has been great! Prices are on point for these items! The cheesecake is the best I ever had.

The Copper Crust located in the central market is one of the best place to pick up the perfect pastries. They severe breakfast and lunch on Tuesday’s Thursday’s and Saturday’s from 7−2pm. The food is really amazing. They also have Sunday brunches from 7 – 2. This place is a must try. The restaurant is small but rich in ambiance.

SOoooo good. a little bit pricey but hands down the best croissant ever. i had the spinach and feta croissant and dont even like feta cheese. best croissant ever. now i have to go there every time i’m in york when they’re open. which includes sundays!!! their quiche was also very good as well as all of the other pastries and pies that i tried. they had a special beef(stew?) hand held pie for restaurant week and it was equally amazing. amazing grab and go treats. i havent committed to any sitdown meals there but they look and sound amazing as well.

We have visited this place many times. They have outstanding breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee. Nice people and a fun atmosphere. I recommend the sour cherry pastry and the mini cheesecakes.

The best pastries in town, everything is fresh and tasty. I eat at the copper crust every Saturday and look forward to it all week. They roast their own coffee beans, don’t go anywhere else in market for a cup of fresh coffee, as good as it gets.

We were rather confused by this place … We went today for brunch — because its hours are 7 – 2 and it’s listed as a «brunch» restaurant here on Unilocal — but they only sell brunch on the weekends? Which was strange. But we’re from NYC and we acknowledge that this is a small town business, so we took that with a grain of salt and ordered from their lunch menu. I got their Jerk Chicken«sandwich» and, I’m so sorry to say, I threw it in the trash after the first bite. First, it was a wrap(though nowhere on the menu did it say it was a wrap) and I don’t like wraps. But the chicken was cold and flavorless, the grilled pineapple was smooshy and watery, and their«cool cucumber sauce» tasted like mayonnaise. Really really gross. I went with a group of friends and my friend raved about his smoked salmon bagel the rest of the day(a lunch menu item) so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the environment was cute. Based on these factors, I’d give it 2 stars. Because my sandwich was definitely a 0 star.

The Copper Crust is located in the NW corner of Central Market and is the best bakery in the place. They have a good breakfast selection but it goes super quick. If you get there in the afternoon, not much of the stuff on the menu is in stock. The scones are amazing here, made perfectly! I would give the Copper Crust a higher rating but their online menu and pricing is wrong and because of that, your expectations may not be met. Definitely worth a try but ignore the online menu.

We were in York with a large group two weekends ago. While looking for a place for breakfast, we found the Copper Crust. What a gem! The smell of fresh, homemade pastries pulled us in. it is located in the Central Market in downtown York. The person at the register told us that the apple fritters were fresh out of the oven, so we had to give them a try. Spectacular! It was warm and oh so good. We also indulged by having a cronut. It was my first, and it was delicious. We went ahead and had breakfast there. I had eggs on a homemade croissant with a small salad. Others enjoyed a blueberry scone and quiche. The breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was great and friendly. We could not leave without ordering another scone to go, cranberry this time. Moist and delicious. We were so impressed that we returned the following day, first in line when they opened. The place filled up quickly, and rightfully so. I had a warm cronut and repeated my egg and homemade croissant breakfast. Fresh and delicious. The owner came out to our table and chatted with us. He was trained in New York City and moved to York to be near family and fill a niche in the Central Market. When in York, the Copper Crust is a must! We will be back anytime we are in the area.

Amazing. The end. Seriously amazing. Was traveling from Lancaster to Gettysburg and wanted to stop somewhere in between for breakfast. Read about The Copper Crust on Unilocal and had to try it. Breakfast included egg sandwich with house smoked bacon on mouth-watering cheddar biscuit and french toast with out of this world lemon curd. Picked up some cookies for the road. Bummed I live in Los Angeles and can’t make this place a weekly stop.

If you’re visiting downtown York, this is a place to come for breakfast or lunch. It’s located inside the Central Market which is its of a great place for food lovers to visit. Sean makes just about everything from scratch here from the pastries, croissants, house smoked bacon, and house smoked salmon. Incredible passion that these owners put into their food! It will be on my «must visit» list anytime I visit Downtown York in the future.

What a perfect little café/bakery to enjoy a relaxing Sunday brunch. The egg and red pepper sauce on a biscuit with delicious sides was quite a treat. Everything is homemade which requires patience to wait for this delicious breakfast. We took some homemade croissants to go and are very happy we did. We will return!

Outstanding little breakfast and brunch café! I thought it was so sweet, we got a little twisted around trying to find it(it’s on the Beaver Market entrance not the Pennsylvania entrance). We called and the lovely lady actually stood outside to help us find the café! The customer service was outstanding and the food was incredible! We tried the lemon curd French toast, which was my favorite! The lemon curd is perfect and house made! We also had the wonderful house smoked bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a delicious cheddar biscuit and the poached egg or house smoked ham with an awesome poblano scallion cream sauce atop another yummy cheddar biscuit. I thought it was very classy that the chef came out and asked us how everything was and chatted with is for a bit. Overall an amazing experience! If you find yourself in York, PA you should find your way to Copper Crust!

The baked goods are absolutely fantastic! The apple fritters and spinach and cheese croissants are one of my favorites! The coffee is decent, but I stay away from their espresso and steamed milk beverages.
