The rink itself is nice and the few dealings I have had with the employees have been positive. Last week, I saw an employee find a folder left at the rink by a customer. Instead of throwing it away as many businesses would do, the employee found a phone number and left a message for folder owner. That was really nice thing to do. Our experience with the rink mostly surrounds the hockey programs run out of the rink by the Peninsula Prowl. My son has played against and for the Prowl off and on for the last eight years at the Iceplex. This year he played for their travel hockey program and it was a very positive experience. The kids received almost three hours of practice a week and played about forty games — a lot of which they won, which was a perfect number all for a very reasonable price. The coaching instruction was good and all of the kids on the team were nice — as were the parents. Overall the Iceplex and Prowl hockey have been a positive experience for my child and family. I would recommend this facility for skating and the Prowl for youth hockey

To all the Unilocalers, I was looking for a place to take my niece to learn ice skating. I looked on Unilocal and found this place. I got here 30 min before the public session was about to finish. I paid the full price and proceeded inside. John smith came to me and gave me 2 free ticket because it was near the end of public session, and 30 minutes was very little. He was very generous and amazing in customer service. Second, Alexandra Rimcovitch is an amazing iceskating instructor. She was so patient and very detailed in explaining everything to my niece. Her way of teaching is amazing! My niece learned very quickly. She is also super sweet and kids love that. Russia has some of the best iceskaters ever and that is also why I chose Alexandra. I hope that this is helpful for those who are looking.

Went with a small group on a Thursday night and there were only about 10 other people there, so definitely not overcrowded. The skating periods start and end at very precise times, but you’ll pay the same entrance price whether you arrive 20 minutes before the period ends or at the beginning of the block. The interior isn’t stunning but it doesn’t need to be — the seating was enough for us, lockers were available for .50 cents and they played good music the whole time. Definitely fun to do a few times or as a date, but come on a week night and don’t set foot inside the bathrooms.

Place is conveniently located in Yorktown, price is about $ 9 for admission and skate rental. Place looks a bit old and rundown but the ice rink is well kept. Fun for family date night out.

Weeeeee! thump!(that’s me skating and falling) This is a good place to skate. on weekend nights you’ll find it packed. The sit down area is not big enough to house all the people & the place looks pretty old… but it does its job. Offers a place for people to ice skate. Bewarned: weekend nights are filled with teens and children all skating like madness. Prices are average– about $ 10 a person.
