Hey gang, if you can get past the unfortunate name that this place has decided to use(seriously, run this thing past a couple focus groups or something) then you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Great food and dirt cheap prices, service which is quick and professional, and boy howdy is that men’s bathroom clean; I wanted to eat my chicken sandwich in there(that’s me being hyperbolic, I didn’t actually want to do that.) If you’re in the area and want some bbq and can, again, somehow not think of excrement when you look at the name, then stop here. Get the pretzel bird or choose for yourself, I don’t care, I don’t own the place(if I did I’d call it Pig Destroyer until the band sued me, then I’d call it «Give a Pork Man a Break» or something like that because I love puns.)

Another favorite of ours. The pulled pork is my favorite! I only wish they served bread with their meals.

If it weren’t for Unilocal I would have never found this treasurer! We live an hour and a half away and were in town for a track meet and were starving after the meet, pulled up Unilocal and the rest is history. In love!

Best pulled pork in town. Their potato soup is also delicious. Reminds me of old potato soup at armadillos. Must be some how connected. Variety of draft beer also for selection. That makes me a happy camper.

Great BBQ. Great staff. I was seated quickly and well taken care of all throughout my meal. The BBQ itself was simply great. The sauce was slightly sweet but spicy. The ribs were nice and tender as was the chicken. My only regret about this place is I can’t come here that often due to distance.

Went last night for a girls dinner. had reservations at 730 got right in. The place was packed so it did take some time to get our drinks. I ordered the chicken marsala with veggies and a salad… the veggies weren’t great needed to cook longer and seasoned better that or I’m guessing they where frozen in which case they will never be good. the chicken was moist the mushrooms where yummy portabela and soaked up all the marsala flavor. wish they had a vinergret for the salad. My girlfriend got the chicken tender platter she got a lot of tenders but they where done in a beer batter similar to fish. very greasy and no flavor. the fries where crunch tho… over all decent meal and pretty good service despite being super busy

Where do I even begin seriously one of my top 3 favorite places! The ribs are great you can’t go wrong, sauce is smokey in just the right amount. Oh and let’s talk about that blue moon beer cheese soup. So rich and creamy try dipping the dyngle chips in it! On to burgers, freaking wow! The Mac and cheese burger is the perfect burger. It starts with a pretzel bun, a thick patty, then topped with a heap full of Mac and cheese and finished off with fresh grilled jalapeños. Honestly I’ve had a little of everything and haven’t found anything I didn’t like! Five Stars!!!

Great BBQ! Had the baby back ribs and pulled pork with mac and cheese and baked beans. A little pricey, but well worth it. Will definitely be back.

My boyfriend took me here for a Valentine’s dinner on the 12th and earlier that day I had gotten sick a few times but I was determined to try this place as I LOVE good BBQ. Well. I can tell you that that visit the service was wonderful, however I was unable to eat my food due to my illness. It looked amazing though. We went back last night and my boyfriend said his food was even better than the last time and my food was delectable. They were quite busy so we were expecting a wait on a table, there was none. We were expecting a longish wait on food. We were pleasantly surprised when the waitress walked out with our food. So much so that he said«I wish that was our food but I know it isn’t.» And it was. If I could give more than 5 stars I would because this place is a diamond in the rough of the Youngstown area’s mass amount of chain restaurants.

In a food wasteland, Barry Dyngles is a rare bright spot. Stick to the comfort food — the ribs, fries, mac and cheese, slaw. Great beer list. Good to have this place in town.

Best ribs ever!!! I have had ribs in numerous restaurants and these are the top. The meat is juicy and falls off of the bone. The BBQ sauce is award winning. The service is always friendly. The sides are generous and the bread is fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I’ve been coming to Barry Dyngles since they opened. It is one of only 2 – 3 spots that I will eat BBQ at. But guess what all of their food is delicious. The Garlic Ranch dressing is the best dressing. Don’t forget to try the potato soup or the cheese soup also. Really good beer selection to go along with the amazing food. What I like best though is how the good the service has become. The

I love their food they have great potato soup, southwestern chicken chili, baked potatoes, veggies, fries, chicken, ribs, burgers, brisket, and so many more great foods. Employees are friendly, great place overall, only giving it a 4 star because it’s often crowded and has long waits but I still love it.

Weak. Shows up on Unilocal as inexpensive. Not at all true. Fries are horrible. Barbeque is tolerable. I won’t be back.

After being away from Youngstown for over 20 years, I had no idea what to expect when I went looking for foods I really enjoy(BBQ). Mostly I found that if you want a vast majority of different ethnic foods, drive to Pitt/Cleveland. So I must say my expectations for finding ribs and brisket were very low. What a pleasant surprise this was, the St. Louis ribs were delicious as was the chicken. Not thrilled with the sides but as someone once said, never fill up on sides when there is delicious smoky meats to eat. A little pricey considering this is the Mahoning Valley or it would be worth 5 stars for the the BBQ. As an aside I also tried CS near downtown since it was closer, but believe me Barry Dyngles was worth the drive.

Outstanding. Service was punctual and courteous and gave great and personal advice(not like a money grubbing waiter that just wants you to get the most expensive item). We went late at night and were blown away that we had passed this place up numerous times. A little pricey but I’d happily pay it again and more for another experience.

Where do I start? The bbq is consistently delicious, super tender, perfect smokiness, and flavorful. The baby back ribs are meaty tender fall off the bone yummy goodness! There is a nice variety of sauces, there’s sure to be one that will satisfy everyone in your party. The sides are also delicious. The baked beans are sweet but not too sweet, the corn bread is super moist, the mac and cheese is basic but very cheesy and even their french fries are seasoned and crispy. One of my favorites besides the bbq is the Yuengling beer battered haddock fish fry. It’s crispy outside, yet tender inside with moist flaky fish accompanied with delicious tarter sauce, MMMMMMMMMMMM! Oh, and the shrimp kabobs. They’re poppy, perfectly grilled and seasoned served with rice and a variety of grilled veggies, YUM! After selecting one of their menu items, you then have another choice to make, what delicious craft beer on tap do you want to drink with it. From IPA’s to Lagers and fruity beers, it’s not just your domestic regulars to choose from! This makes it a great place to just stop in, watch the game(on one of their 20 something TV’s) and have a beer and appetizer. Their appetizer menu has something for everyone too. From hot peppers in oil, to wings, nachos, ribs and if you’re undecided, try their sampler, you won’t be disappointed. From the outside, it don’t look like much, but once you walk in, meet the staff, experience the food and service. You will be back!
