Unless you are a close personal friend of «The Mayor of Steel Street» expect to get a big plate of lamb rib bones, with little to no meat at all. Only his bestest buddies get the actual lamb roast. And watch out for the gangs of little old ladies who scoop up all the spring onions and bread and stuff it in their purses on the rare occasions they bring it out. They will beat you out of the way as soon as it looks like there is a chance of them getting more free food. Scabs. Place sux. Always has sucked. Always will suck. The half chicken is good though.

A Youngstown Land Mark! Experience the culture of Youngstown with great food and gritty people. Youngstown is very rough around the edges but that’s what makes youngstown great ! The palms is Youngstown! Get busy dying or get busy living.

Steel Street on the west side of Youngstown is known for serving lamb and pork on Saturdays. Dubic’s Palm Café is by far the best. I’ve been getting lamb there for years and it’s phenomenal. I recently tried the pork and I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Make sure you get it with skin.
