Coaches Burger Bar

Went in around 1 for lunch last Saturday with my husband and a friend of ours. We got our drinks pretty quickly, but had to wait 10+ minutes for a refill and it took over 30 minutes to get our food, we each got a burger with fries. The food was great. We only saw our actual waitress once, the bartender took care of us the rest of the time. Probably won’t return, the food wasn’t good enough to tolerate the bad service and wait time for.

I Ordered takeout for my husband and myself. The size of the burgers were impressive! My husband loved his fire burger and I was a fan of the Pittsburgh burger and we both enjoyed the sweet potato fries. Yum!

I went in on Wednesday night with a few friends and thought it was good. The service was what made it from the host to the servers. They were amazing!
Now when I took my wife back Saturday the who I believe was the owner was yelling at one of the girls that work there. Right in front of the customers!!! Really? My wife and I left there never to return.
I don’t know what the girl did but it is very unprofessional to do that in front of guests.
I hope the girl quits and someone teaches this guy a lesson.

We visited Coaches after a long drive from NY for Christmas and it really hit the spot. We started with the Buffalo Chicken dip which was excellent. I am originally from Buffalo so tend to dislike things that claim to be «Buffalo Chicken» but loved this one. I got the peppercorn burger which is a mushroom swiss burger. It was a bit more cooked than I would have liked but it was still quite good. My regular fries were good, my husband’s sweet potato ones were better!
We don’t get burgers often but we’ll be back the next time we do!

I have ordered carryout from this location on three separate occasions. The first two times the order was incorrect. They left off toppings from the burger. I called to complain the first time because they left off my blue cheese which I paid an extra dollar to have on the burger, which might not be a big deal to some people but when you have your heart set on a burger with blue cheese and find no blue cheese on your burger, you get a little irritated. The second time they left off toppings, and since they were basically «free» with the burger, I didn’t call to complain.
The burger patty, on both occasions, was cooked on the medium-​well to well-​done side. I really wish that they would allow you to stipulate the doneness of the burger patty. Not everyone likes a well-​done hockey puck. Some of us enjoy a nice slightly pink middle.
The last time that I ordered carryout the burger was actually decent. I ordered the Peppercorn Burger and the patty was cooked medium-​well, but wasn’t dry or anything. It still retained some moisture. The toppings were plentiful and flavorful. The pepper wasn’t overpowering and complimented the meat well. We also tried a Chicken and Greens sandwich. The chicken was cooked well and the greens were okay. Not enough garlic for our liking but not terrible either.
I would like to give this place a higher rating, as it is locally owned and it is quite close to my house. My experience with the restaurant just hasn’t warranted it though unfortunately.
Also, I would avoid the Stacy S. review on here who reviewed the restaurant once and then updated the review two more times. All 5 star ratings, or course. If you google «Stacy S» and «Coaches Burger Bar», you will find some Vindicator articles that state that one of the owners is Stacy Sam. This might be a coincidence, but I don’t think that it is. Just a fyi to those who visit restaurants based on real ratings and not ratings placed by owners.

Great veggie burger. Sweet potato fries are awesome! Very nice place with great service.

First off I am a foodie and eat everywhere I can. We went to coaches as a result of all the local rave we have heard. I think the food is quality but pretty average overall. I got the Texan and the wife got the Peppercorn burgers. For a burger I would give it a ⁸⁄₁₀. I think Boggies and even Pourhouse have burgers of equal to better quality and bigger serving size. The bun was medium size and the patty did not fill to the edges. Slightly disappointed in the serving size considering the higher price, particularly because it is a sports bar. I went home hungry and ate some chips. The floors are dangerously slippery but the service was outstanding. Kuddos for giving a good alternative to the crap BW3 and some other local holes serve but they need to increase the serving size. Even the french fry serving was average. Potatoes are cheap… load them up! Would have gave it a 5 star if the serving size matched the higher price.

OMG… All of you who read this need to rush to Coaches and try their greens. The are fantastic.
We learned of this restaurant from a quaint little charity cook off they attended and were so impressed we decided to try the place out. The place is fun, upbeat, clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. I absolutely loved my food. Who puts kielbasa on top of a hamburger? Coaches does and it was delicious. The burger was piled high and cooked perfectly, that teamed with the fresh cut fries was perfect. And did I mention the greens? Hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. I will without a doubt return to Coaches Burger Bar. I dont impress easily and I definitely was. I also enjoyed seeing the owner out is the dining room making sure all were satisfied. That means a lot. Keep up the good work Coaches and we will see you soon.

We were there right when an unpredictable rush hit and the food and speed of service were still right on point.
You can tell the owner truly cares about quality and attention to detail. He stopped by personally to make sure we were all pleased. We will be back soon!

Omg! My first at Coaches tonight and it was probably one the best experiences I have ever had! We sat at the bar where we were served by the best bartender. She was so friendly! The atmosphere was amazing and the food to die for! We will definitely be returning customers!

Came in work clothes, carry out at bar. Delicious lunch, nice barmaid Tara, very courteous;will be back again .soon.

Back home in Poland to visit my family and my girlfriend picked me up at airport and we headed to new place Coaches Burger Bar! Nice atmosphere, nice server we had Lucille. We ordered buffalo chicken dip for appetizer! Awesome! Than we build our own Turkey Burgers!

Well, service, service, service-​not to be found! Waited over an hour for a burger. They brought it out & my order was not right & it was cold. Sent it back & they put microwave bacon on it. If your going to have a burger bar & charge extra for every little thing, then serve the REAL ITEM, not fake bacon. COME ON!

Came here for first time through word of mouth reference. Will not return, burgers were over cooked. There were about 1 servers to 2 patron ratio yet service was extremely slow. But that’s probably due in part to the bartender running her mouth to people sitting at the bar and I never knew it took 5 minutes to pour a beer. Must me some crazy new tap system. Owner was far more in tuned with watching his keno numbers then the terrible service. Maybe he should be back in the kitchen watching the medium burgers coming out well done. Very unprofessional to be playing lottery games while working. Most places it’s against the law. I watched him put more money in the keno machine then ask a table how their meal went, which by the way was zero. Horrible management. I give this place negative 77 stars. Because it took about 77 minutes for 1 beer and 1 burger to arrive at my table. Bring back the wine bar and small plates. I give this place 3 months tops.
