Applebee’s

My son and I came in just for an appetizer and a a couple drinks while we wait for our dog to get groomed. We had the nacho appetizer and it was great, our server came and checked on us a few times and she was a very nice person.

Even tho I’m 2,400 miles away from home, this location is the EXACT same as every other one I’ve been to. Same menu, same layout. I enjoyed my food, everything was made to my liking. The only reason why it’s 4 instead of 5 stars is because the girl who seated us just walked off and didn’t say anything at all. Usually they say «your server will be right with you» or something of that nature. She didn’t say a word. I found that rude… didn’t want to play the «race card» and say why but I am in the middle of Ohio. However my actual server was on top of her game and made up for it. So thanks to her this location gets 4 stars instead of the 1 I was generally going to give. When I left the girl I’m referring to said «have a nice night». ya’ll lucky! Lmao

So gross. There was paper in our burger and our cheese sticks were frozen in the middle. Horrible service! !! Dont eat there or u risk getting sick!

This place has been going down hill for a while. I got a beer, it was flat. We got aps the looked like a disaster. Nachos looked like soup, sliders under cooked. We ordered a burger cooked pink, came way over done. I think this is the last time we will come here. The only good thing here was our waiter Brandon s.

The portion size of food is really small! I’m still hungry! I ordered sirloin steak 7 oz with mashed potato and vegetables! The food was tasty though!

This is the worst Applebees I have ever eaten at. I ordered the chicken fajita rollup (my favorite!) and it was terrible. It came out cold and looked sloppy and was filled with cabbage (not part of the description). My friend ordered a side of fries… The skimpiest portion ever! I would not recommend eating at this Applebees location.

Excellent meal and excellent service. Food was hot and gave us time to talk between appetizer and entrée. Everything was clean and not noisy at all. All and all good ending to my day.

Ashley was great. Very prompt and pleasant. My shrimp and bourbon chicken was awesome. I haven’t been here in a long time. It’s nice to see this place is still doing good.

My husband and I went for dinner a few nights ago… the lack of cars in the parking lot should have been our first red flag. Hostess was friendly enough, our server was friendly and knowledgeable but that’s where is ends. We both ordered soup to start: french onion and chicken tortilla. After waiting 20 mins for soup I asked the manager of the store how long does it take to get a cup of soup? He responded that they were having some issues in the kitchen and the soup was still frozen. Still frozen? Soup shouldn’t be frozen in the first place. In the meantime, they tripped a breaker and the lights went out, and the couple across from us warned us that it took an hour for them to receive their meal. And they were right, an hour and here comes our meal. Now the food was fine, cooked well but 12 minute ticket times they do not have. And a little over-​priced. The manager didn’t really seem concerned about the patrons having a good experience. The funny part is my husband travels for work and said other stores have been fine. Is it just Youngstown restaurants? Are we not concerned enough ourselves to let these restaurants know that this type of service or lack of is not acceptable? No excuse.

This place makes me sad. Service was slow. Food was meh, and there was little concern for clearing tables.

On the road for work this was a place we enjoyed. Locally (this location) –not so good. Keep returning hoping for change, no luck. Cold food served in stages to party of 3 ! Hey watch ME eat now… SWELL times INDEED. Inattentive servers and last a floor mgr who seemed to ask every tables experience — Except ours; guess he’d already known that IT was poor at best. The good part of a chain is, when sales drop the mgmt moves along with the poor staff. Will come back in a few months, hope you square it away.
