Chicken should not be as cheap as they sell it for unless there is something afoot. Good store, questionable chicken.

I love this store that is why I gave it a 5 star rating. There is always a but since this is where I shop on a weekly basis I will give you a few tips and tricks for shopping here. 1. Do not go on a Saturday unless you are desperate and you are there first thing in the morning. 2. The first thing you do is grab an ad, and continue to the meat counter if you are buying meat. 3. Grab a ticket, don’t be one of those people who stand in line and complain but never took a ticket. Depending on your number and how many are in front of you, go do some shopping and keep checking back to see if your number is up. 4. Do NOTBUYTHEGROUNDTURKEYFROMTHEMEATCOUNTER!!! By all means BUYEVERYTHINGELSE, but for some reason the ground turkey is horrid quality there… and BECAREFULIFYOUBUYYOURBACONINBULKSOMETIMESITISNOTGOODEITHER!!! 5. SORRYMR. RULLI but it is true your ground turkey is horrible… 6. They have the best produce deals around. 7. You can get your produce and deli here for half the price of other stores. 8. I am never in line long at the checkout. 9. Cut out your ad coupons because the cashier does need them. 10. Come prepared with your re-usable shopping bags, even though if you spend over 50 they give you another. 11. Customer service is excellent!

Rulli Brothers is a fantastic store! I’m new to the area and have been there only twice but have been really impressed both times. In Syracuse we have a couple specialty Italian markets but they are that — specialty stores. Rulli’s has everything those stores carry plus a full line of regular groceries as well! We tried their brand of pasta sauce and it was very good — can’t wait to try the Bologonese that I bought last night. I haven’t bought meat there yet but if the lines are any indication, it will be very good. I’m a little leary of how they handle their chicken as it looked like there was quite a bit of cross-contamination going on but I’ve noticed that is the case at most stores in this area. Perhaps we have a higher incidence of salmonella in Central NY so stores have to be more careful? And the spices! Can I mention the prices can’t be beat? I bought some ground coriander — nice size container for 80 cents and a container of bay leaves for 88 cents? I was very skeptical as to the quality and was pleasantly surprised when I opened both today to find they were very fresh and as good as anything I’ve bought at higher priced stores. I’ll definitely be shopping at Rulli Bros often!

There is nothing like Rulli Brother’s!!! When I’m back in town from Colorado I buy as much as I can here to not only support local but to take back with me. Great and affordable spices. When it’s planting season I get Italian vegetable seeds and take back with me as well. I stock my parents kitchen here in Boardman with everything Rulli and cook with everything while I’m back. Not only is their Italian but Polish and American, too. Local honey and maple syrup! Yum! If only I could get all the other things back with me that need refrigerated like the great selection of cheeses and meats. Appreciate what you have, Youngstown! Rulli’s is 1 in a million! I read a post complaining about long lines at the meat counter-They’re longer than most because their prices are so good! Grab your smart phone and play a game or two or why not talk to someone while you wait-make a new friend! Rulli’s is fantastic!!!

The quality of this store and its customer service has been on the decline for sometime now. Unlike the prices which have been jumping up every week. With the product declining I will not be returning

Rulli Bros always has special deals that require coupons. Sometimes it is a bag of lettuce for $.49– or milk for astonishingly low prices, etc. Get the flyer, rip out the coupon and go here. Their meat lines are long– and yes, it is worth the wait. It is hard to find a butcher these days that stocks quality meat– but this place delivers. My advice? Take someone with you so one of you can stand in line at the counter and the other can get some things off the list at the same time.

Best produce prices I’ve come across. The kitchen has great items already made for a quick and easy dinner. Try the Italian greens and Italian sausage with peppers.
