I had a good first experience here yesterday — food wise — but was surprised that they anticipate a 20% gratuity when it’s a self-service establishment(it’s written on the menu). Very tacky :(

Loved this place! The beer was great and you could design your own flight. I tried six. Wonderful family atmosphere. It made us jealous of the locals who were able to drop in anytime. Tried the duck rillets and the classic poutine. Delicious! Split a gyro and Reuben with my husband and we enjoyed those also. The bartenders were super nice and accomodating.

Was here on a Sunday at 2pm and hardly anyone else was there. Ordered the mediterranean board and it as pretty good! Didn’t expect a brewery to have great hummus and handmade pita bread. Everything else was pretty fresh and yummy, too.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Super chill and laid back. Empty, but I like it like that. Had a flight and an Amish Chicken Confit salad. Awesome. I will be back.

Excellent beer. Good place to bring family and friends, or just hang out on a sunny day and visit. The Cuban sandwich was okay but the barbecue burger was amazing! All the food is prepared fresh and with care.

The staff and owners obviously don’t have kids, don’t want kids, and don’t want to be around kids. Instead of treating families like shit, just be honest and say you’re not kid friendly. That way we all win.

My favorite place to grab a booze in Ypsi/Ann Arbor. Went to college here in ypsi, spent a good amount of time here. The beer here is the best, especially the strawberry blonde in the summer. The beer garden always makes for a good time. They have a stack of fun board games laying around and had dart boards(not sure if they still do). Good finger food for a decent price. Try mixing a few different beers together.

Had the mussels special with the recommended beer, Ypsi Gypsi, for lunch this Saturday. Excellent combo. It seems to me that brew pubs are the places to go for adventurous food. ABC is proof.

This is our new go to brewery now that we live closer. Small beer list, but usually all winners. Happy hour is always the best time to get good deals! I have never been disappointed in the food either. Always great. Service is always stellar with some friendly faces helping you out. I love the family friendly atmosphere and fun games you can sit and play for hours! If you haven’t checked this place out, you should!

We’ve had a few beers here over the years, usually not had a problem with those. The open, airy interior is nice, though it seems the space has become a little more formalized over the years, filled now with real(if mismatching – garage sale purchased?) dining tables and chairs. Pub-style service(order at the bar) keeps things simple. Last night we finally tried the food and were pleased. My wife loved her club, though found it best with some of the ginger slaw she’d ordered on the side tucked into it. I ordered the rueben and liked it. Good corned beef, but a little skimpy on the kraut. Next time I’ll ask for extra. Our Hoptown Brown ales were OK, but it seemed this brew tasted better last year, fuller in flavor. With both food and beer, that seems to be a problem at both ABC locations-nothing is as good as the first time or first few times you had it. I hope that on future visits, the sandwiches will live up to the expectations they set this time.

Offshoot of Arbor Brewing Company, this is the perfect(if only) place to get a craft beer with friends after work. Good meetup place any time of year(outdoors in back in summer, fireplaces in winter) for get togethers. Quiet in the afternoon to work on the web, or loud and packed for fun on Halloween or New Years Eve. Beer list fluctuates, interesting choices in German style mugs. Food is awful, even for bar food. The pizza is fairly edible after downing some IPAs. ABC has a great vibe and is ideal for beer, friends, games etc. Skip the food.

The beer, board games, and outside seating probably make it a 5. The price of food, ability to find an inside seat, and seemingly always jam-packed parking bring it down to a 4. Prices for beer are solid. Everything I’ve had there food wise has been good, but just a bit overpriced. It has a cool local hangout vibe, especially when board/card games are provided, but with half the space always being rented out to groups(or just closed off entirely), sometimes it gets a bit tough to find a seat when everyone hangs around for so long.

I stopped in to grab a couple of growlers to take up north for the hunt, so I didn’t try the food, but I was impressed with the interior of Corner Brewery, Ypsilanti(ABC Microbrewery). It is laid out in a open and inviting casual way that fits very well with the location, something not every microbrewery is able to achieve. There was a good, energetic crowd, and I wish I could have gotten a beer and set down, but I had more prep to do before I left the next day. I tried the Buzzsaw American IPA — which was very good — but the Ypsi Gypsi Session IPA was the real star, as always. It survived the trip up north well enough to earn the high praise of all the Yoopers I shared it with, and that’s saying something I tell you, eh. I’ll be back down to the Corner Brewery, that’s for sure!

I am so happy that the Corner Brewery is in my town! Only thing I’d change is having it closer to home so I could have one more before making my trek home. Beer selection is good, especially if you’re fond of IPAs. Then there’s the food… the FOOD! It’s amazing. Somewhat pricey, but c’mon…you really do get what you pay for. Lots of fresh, local ingredients and creative recipes on the specials board. I almost cried the other day when they told me they were sold out of wings. I recommend the garlic fries and(seriously) any salad(even the side salad) with the lemon and agave vinaigrette. Just a great, laid back place to chill and have a beer with friends. Also, a great place to have your birthday party, especially if you have a summer birthday, you can sit in the beer garden…

Oddly the beer isn’t as good as it used to be, had a Bollywood but it was flat. Maybe just an off day. The pizza I ordered was hot and with a good amount of cheese but the dough was more like a cracker style dough than pizza dough and just 2 very small pieces of pepperoni per slice made it hardly worth ordering a pepperoni pizza. Hopefully it was just a bad day. This is usually my go to place for good beer in the summer.

The hipster nation is finally upon us. If not, then it’s already here. World peace can definitely be cured with new American craftiness. Welcome to Arbor Brewing Company… Porter’s, stout, lager, blondes or india pale ale is the name if the game here. They have other craft beer from other states and cities, but why? The anti capitalism movement has us loving everything local and small business. It’s the love for the new americana that we’ve created. Yes, just like the song, we were all raised from biggie and nirvana. It’s dark, it’s industrial, it has tables, couches and a bar. You order a drink, they pour it in a pint glass, you carry it to your table and proceed to have great conversations my friend. That, paired with delicious local craft beer that’s made right in the establishment is what it’s all about. If you happen to run out of things to talk about, or if you’re starting to get annoyed of your friends friend, the constant procrastinator. There are board games to help squash the negativity and aid with the good times. It’s not that hard really, they all come with instructions, or better yet, your friend can teach you the basics. Anyway, I quite enjoyed my time here at ABC. I suggest we all drink at watering holes such as these ones. It’s hella local and they serve nothing but Pure Michigan. Thank you ABC, I’ll see you next thirstday. Follow me on Instagram and snapchat: rodtorres3

Sometimes it seems silly for me to make the trip out to the ABC microbrewery when the brewpub is so much closer to home for me. That said, the locations are very different, and I might even say I prefer the ambiance at the brewery to the brewpub. I’ve been in a couple times, once with a fairly large group, and once with a much smaller group. It’s never too hard to accommodate a small group, but we had no problem fitting our large group together at the picnic tables outside. It seems like it would be more challenging to fit a big group inside. Food and drinks are ordered at the bar. The line moves fairly quickly if there is one, especially if everyone in line actually knows what they want to order. My food has always come out in a reasonable amount of time. The food itself is a little on the pricy side, in my opinion, especially given that the portions aren’t particularly large. The portion size itself isn’t a problem — I usually find that restaurant portions are way too big for me. The food is generally good. It’s pretty classic pub food, i.e. pizzas, burgers and sandwiches, but with some interesting flavors thrown in. The potato chips that come with the burgers and sandwiches aren’t particularly good, but that seems to be the norm in the area. The beer selection is generally good, and I like most of the ABC beers I’ve had. Their selection tends to be a little IPA heavy, which is a negative for me, but there’s always Bollywood Blonde, which is a favorite of mine, in case nothing else catches my eye. Beer prices are reasonable. As I mentioned, though, it’s really the ambiance that sells the microbrewery for me. It’s very laid back, with board games available to play inside, and a couple boards for bags outside. If I lived closer, I would definitely come here often just to hang out and have a beer. My bank account is probably happy that I don’t live any closer.

Thid is a great place to hang out. It offers excellent microbrew selection and environment to enjoy it. Rotating tap usually covers great selection of beers. I really admire their IPA selection. Food pairing options are good but limited. Wish they had better selection of appetizers to go with beer !

Beer. Big beer. Tasty beer. Happy me. This is the type of establishment that I love. There are tons of various type of beers brewed here. Whether you’re a fan of IPAs, wheat beers, pilsners, they got them all. They also are pretty inexpensive if you’re going big. And we all know, you should go big or go home. $ 10 pint!!! Oh hell yes. While you chug and chug away you can enjoy the nice parameters of the place. Inside they have nice plus couches, a large bar, and plenty of seating. They even have board games to play. Outside you can enjoy some nice picnic tables, tents, and various outdoor seating. If you have a large group of people, this seems like a must go to spot.

Outstanding all around brews with a great selection of styles. The rotating taps keep it interesting so each time there are new beers even for locals. Ever since the new kitchen opened the food has been excellent. Try the garlic and goat cheese pizza! Bar style ordering so you need to get up and order everything at the bar. Keeps things moving pretty fast and I always find myself surprised at how quickly the food is ready.

Food: 4⁄5 — Great food! My husband raves about their fries. Great selection… many vegetarian and/or vegan options. I’m not really a beer drinker, but I think they have a lot of options in their menu. I tried their strawberry blonde — I like it. Service: 4⁄5 — it’s almost self serve. You go to the bar to order your drink or food; they give you number; you go to your table; they bring your order to your table. Friendly people and efficient. Décor/Ambience: 4⁄5 — It’s what you get when you go to a bar, except it looks a little cleaner and feels less crowded. It has a big space. Overall experience: It’s a good place to go to. It’s walking distance from where I live — very convenient. I would come back here once in a while for their food. It’s better than the one in Ann Arbor.

Gross! I haven’t been here in a few years, and maybe my tolerance for dives has gone down as I approach my 30s, but this place has gone downhill. The upholstery at our booth was ripped to shreds to the point where we were sitting on bare foam, how to do miss that? Our table was sticky, flies were buzzing around us the whole time, AC was barely on– on a very hot day. I could go on. Just seemed very dingy overall. The Mediterranean board was disappointing. $ 13 for not much exciting. I know the food runners are not waiters, but they could at least say SOMETHING along the lines of «enjoy your meal», rather than silently dropping the food on your table and walking away. On a positive note, the garlic fries and strawberry blonde were both very good.

I’ve been here a few times since I’ve moved to Ypsilanti and every time the food and the beer is amazing. I also enjoy the pub style service. You order your food and drinks at the bar rather than having a server. You also bus your own table. I don’t mind and it allows for you to feel more relaxed in my opinion. They are pretty pricey but it’s just soooo good. Carnitas fries are the bomb. I also got stung by a wasp in here. That was weird. Still not going to drop my rating though.

Ever since this article was written( ) they lost a lot of talent, and it shows. Change the name of the restaurant as many as you want, you can’t escape the past! Lol. Anyway, they try to assume a hippie-esque vibe and it’s contrived and a bit manipulative. I’m not a hippie though, so what do I know? On lighter note, the beer courtyard is really nice on sunny summer afternoon Sunday’s.

I made it here for the first time last night. A little disappointed it took me so long to make it here. It was Monday. They have live music on Mondays and last nights act was really solid. Dee and Dave or something like that. Rolled in around 8:30. Ordered some beers. I’ve been to the Brewpub in Ann Arbor multiple times, but never made it out here before. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The place was very spacious and had a nice aesthetic. We ordered multiple things off the menu… garlic fries, one of the pizzas(the one with spicy sauce, chicken, bacon… not sure what it was called), a couple of the taco specials, and the mushroom burger. All of the food was really really good and moderately priced. There were about 8 – 10 beers on tap(I believe). I kinda wish there would’ve been a few more options in this department. That’s the only area where I felt like they came up short. Other than that, a solid 4-star experience. Definitely looking forward to coming back.
