They charge $13 for all credit card purchases and then up charge you 400% on the part. After all that they have the nerve to charge a surcharge for the use of equipment. Do not go here, theses guys have become rip off artists. I went to them for years until my last visit, no more.

Jesse and the guys at Auto One have been helping me with my MINI for the past 4 years. They have always provided excellent service at a reasonable price. Before they work on my car, they give me a quote as to how much to expect to pay, and the final bill is always an accurate reflection of their quote. MINI coopers aren’t easy to work on … I know, but they always do a great job and only do work that is necessary. If it’s a job they don’t specialize in, they know other great mechanics in the area that can help me with whatever is going on. I plan to continue using them as my mechanic in the future because they are honest, knowledgeable, and dependable.

I have been an auto mechanic for the past 40 years. My recent surgery prevented me from replacing a much needed CV joint axle, they quoted me the labor costs up front and accommodated me even on a busy Saturday.
The CV axle I needed was impossible to find yet they took time off their busy schedule to check availability. They worked with me till the part was finally located. They may not be the largest newest repair shop in town but the personalized service and experience makes the difference.
They are the most honest and approachable auto repair shop I have dealt with, their prices are very competitive and they won’t try and sell you on unnecessary repairs. They are the only shop I trust when I am unable to complete the repairs myself. I recommend they highly.

I was a customer of this shop until the incident described at the links below happened. Service was unremarkable. I only came in for oil changes. Drive in, get yer oil, get out. Dumping used oil or gasoline down a storm sewer though is inexcusable; so is charging your customers a disposal fee while you claim to the media that you get paid for oil that you recycle — Nice excuse Mr. Murrillo.
Also interesting, I distinctly remember a lot more reviews here, including many from about the time of the incident. Did this place somehow get their page reset?

So I needed a new starter in my ’03 Taurus. I looked up a how-​to and it seemed relatively easy, even for a guy that knows little about fixing cars. However, I couldn’t get one of the 4 bolts off with just my hand tools – it was freakin stuck!
So I called around and got quotes from about 12 places, and 3 of them quoted me the lowest at $ 50 just to install it (since I had already purchased the part). I called back the day that I went to Auto-​One to verify the previous quote from the day before (confirmed $ 50) and made an appointment for that afternoon.
When I arrived I was told that it would be $ 100, so I said nooo, and explained how I had already gotten two previous quotes of $ 50. The guy told me that he was the only one worked the past couple of days (despite a younger guy sitting right behind him at that very moment, and another that came while he was there that already seemed to know what he was doing to my car) and that he certainly wouldn’t quote someone so low, then said that the standard price was $ 100 for someone bring their own part.
I reiterated that I indeed got the $ 50 quote and that is what I would pay. He then said he could do it for $ 80 at best. I told him that I had other quotes for $ 50 (and my car was still starting at that moment, so I could easily drive it away) so I wasn’t going to pay more than that. He then offered to do it for $ 70, and I said I would be going somewhere else.
He then gave a heavy sigh, like he was doing me a real favor, and agreed to do it for $ 50 if it was in cash (feel free to make your own assumptions here). I said that that was fantastic. He also seemed slightly annoyed that I was just going to wait there while he did it…
I AM glad that I had someone else do the job, because it still took him a LONG time to get that bolt off, even with his air-​pressurized tools and car-​lift (and he was a bigger fella, so likely MUCH stronger than me). 45 of the 60 minutes the job took was spent getting that one bolt off.
The job went went seemingly fine, car started right up, and has been working without any issues for the last couple of weeks now. I gave them an extra star only because I haven’t had to deal with it since. I won’t be returning.
