So their regular slices are average. Good place to go to if for whatever reason you need late night carbs. However… THATSPINACHCHICAGOSTYLEDOEEEE!!! I came here starving at around 12am one friday night and ordered this magnificent slice. It totally hit the spot! I didn’t want the slice to end. It was so good that I came the next day just to make sure the deliciousness of the slice wasn’t solely attributed to my hunger. Yes, it was still good in the middle of the day. So good that I came the next day to order the slice again. For you know how normal people get obsessed with a song, and play it on repeat or throughout the day? Well, I am like that with food. Try that spinach chicago, and let me know if I am crazy or not!

If you are drunker then a skunk and it’s 3 am and your trying to satisfy your late night hunger there is no better place in Michigan to do so then nypd pizza. It Is seriously amazing. I drove all the way from whitmore lake just to grab a slice

Very fast service and good food. Had the Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. It was light on the sauce so you could taste everything.

There’s only one reason I go to NYPD — the late night special after 10PM. A personal one topping pizza with a drink for around $ 7 is a steal! Especially when you’ve been studying for an exam and craving some carbs to eat the stress away. The main issue with NYPD is its price to quality match. The pizza is sub-par but costs a lot more than you would expect. When you have options like $ 1.50 slices at Backroom Pizza on South U, why bother with $ 2+ slices. One of the nice things about NYPD is that it’s open late and also has beer — and perhaps that niche is what keeps it in business. But I would definitely just stick with eating here for the late night special. Breaded chicken or sausage pizza with a drink after midnight is always a great idea.

i won’t even give this place 1 star, but had to. ordered large pizza, got medium, but charged for large. then got an extra«salad» and«bread sticks»…if you can even call it that! salad was shredded ice berg with 100 reese croutons and bread sticks were brown… looked more like chicken flavored rawhides for dogs. my dog could’ve probably made a better pizza. i would rather have had frozen pizza OR even eaten card board. it really is THAT bad. lesson learned. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

This pizza was really bad. Kids wouldn’t even eat it. Threw two whole pizzas in the trash. Ugh. This place now goes by the name of Ypsilanti pizza depot.

Just ordered and enjoyed the food, but hated the customer service. They forgot a topping and instead of just accepting it, they decided to argue with me about it on three separate calls. I didn’t even want a replacement and honestly just wanted them to get the order right next time. They insisted on arguing with me and hung up on me after telling me to bring a slice in the next morning to prove it. We’ll stick with Jets next time. Never again.

Love the burgers and the price! I get the mushroom cheeseburger. It is a decent sized burger with a very nice bun. Their fries and garlic knots are pretty good however… I think their pizza is kind of awful. Staff is pretty friendly. If you go during a game they have lots of tvs.

Pizza is pizza is pizza is pizza. There are a bunch of pizza restaurants ALLOVER the place that basically make the same thing in a very similar way. Unless the pizza is incredibly unique(or incredibly yummy) it is hard to rate a pizza joint simply on the pizza they serve(I know, crazy, right?). Ypsilanti Pizza Depot serves pizza prettly much like pizza everywhere else, so, for that they are not entirely special. HOWEVER… The food here(everything) is amazing. Like, I’m talking super yummy chicken shawarma sandwiches, ya’ll. YUM! Their menu is extensive, with a wide variety of items to choose from. Don’t worry, though, pretty much all of them are pretty darn good. The actual location is always clean and they have really nice/helpful staff. There is always PLENTY of room to sit because it is almost always empty inside. Whether you dine in, take-out, or order delivery the Ypsilanti Pizza Depot is quick and convenient which is everything I need in life. Honestly, I don’t know why I don’t come here more often!

3 stars is not for the taste but for the length of time it takes to get here & how often our food arrives COLD. I really love their pizza. I love the light crust they have. Its not crispy but still thin and I love that. The taste is great almost like a buttery taste & it isnt greasy at all! We have eaten here two dozen times & it is consistent that the food arrives luke warm 75% of the time. The bacon on the pizza is nice sized and their is a good amount of it. the toppings are plenty. Cheese quality is good. I dont like the bread sticks at all. I prefer their garlic nuts. Ranch dressing is great & they have a large very large menu. The cheese cake is out of this world The peach cobbler is unique & great. I believe its made with cake batter. I would love to see this place get heated delivery bags.

I had a bad experience. I knew something was amiss when the slavering gentleman took forever to take my order, as though«one slice of pizza, and a coke» is not a common order. I really knew something was up when this mouth breather went back to the kitchen, and handled food, plates and silverware IMMEDIATELY after picking both his nose and ears — then, for that savory taste, wiped some of the profuse sweat from his brow. A slice of pizza took 20 minutes. When I did receive it, this cardboard monstrosity was handed to me, not by an employee, but by some trashy college freshman who thought it would be funny to feign being an employee. Back to the pizza. It was a stale piece of flat bread, with a dusting of essence du mozzarella, some Bladerunner green, green onion(it looked like it was grown, chopped and packaged in New Mexico 3 months ago), and to tie it all together, what appeared to be ketchup for the sauce. I strongly disrecommend going in this place for any reason other than to marvel of a 21st century wonder of poor service and food.

First… it’s not the NYPD pizza you’ll find in ann arbor, yeah they sell slices, but they’re no where near as good, but they are cheaper. So, if you want a cheap slice of ok pizza this is your place!

Very Very average pizza. When this place first opened, it was a smaller nypd. Taste just like it, so after not eating it for a couple of years, i decided to order delivery from here and boy it was not the same. This pizza tasted like a tony frozen pizza with actual bacon(only fresh ingredient i saw on the pizza). Also for 1 large meat lovers with delivery, it costed $ 19, can you say never again.

Great pizza. It’s pizza by the slice, you gotta make sure you go there at night when they’re moving through a lot of it. Otherwise you risk eating pizza that has been sitting out for a bit. They do make sure it’s nice and hot for you though. Macaroni and cheese pizza and buffalo chicken pizza are the best.

This place is great! Unique and tasty pizza, completely different than NYPD in Ann Arbor(I originally thought they were part of the same chain but they’re not). Not that there’s anything wrong with NYPD pizza, but I like this quite a bit better. Delivery is fast and free, and the milkshakes are also delicious!

Well, other than Pizza Hut, that was the worst pizza I’ve ever been served. I would not be surprised if it is Tombstone or Jack’s. Doughy little overcheesed slices. It’s weird, I remember it being acceptable the last time I was here a couple years ago, and the Ann Arbor location(New York Pizza Depot) was quite good from what I remember. The place was clean and the guy was nice, but they apparently don’t know anything about pizza, even compared to everywhere else in Michigan.

If you’re a female who attends the University of Michigan, you WILL get a Michigan salad at least 7 times throughout the 4 years of your college experience. This is a fact, not a hypothesis. Despite our justification that it just so happens to have lettuce, we would probably be better off ordering 3 slices of pizza. Between the giant portion size, walnuts, craisins, honey croutons(the best corutons you will ever eat I might add), and chicken if you so choose, this ends up being a pretty hefty meal. However, it is well worth it. Aside from that, the pizza is pretty standard(albeit more than satisfying after a night at the bar), and doesn’t really compare to a lot of the other Ann Arbor staples i.e. Zingermans. Also, note to self: do not order their garlic knots if you plan to be in the presence of humans within the next 6 hours.

Just ordered some delivery and I have to say that I will not be making that mistake again anytime soon. This area is full of other choices that provide better food for the same or even cheaper price. We decided to try some subs(Italian supreme and Pizza), which were ok… nothing that I can’t get a better version of from Aubree’s, Subway, or Quizno’s. With the amount of styro-foam that they used you would assume that the food was hot and drinks were cold, but that wasn’t the case. We decided to upgrade to the curly fries which was a waste… even after we tried to revive them with the oven since they arrived limp and cold. Our fountain sodas were almost entirely ice and our two milkshakes were just that… MILK. As the food sits heavy in my stomach I hope that you can head my warning and order from somewhere else.
