A solid 5 stars on Unilocal? This serves as enough incentive to creep out underneath the Ann Arbor bubble and venture forth to the unknown of Ypsi. When I arrived at 10pm on a Saturday night, I immediately regretted my decision. The place is located in a run down plaza just off the highway, almost the last place you would expect a 5 star-er to be. The front door is a broken screen thingy– kinda like a screen door on your grandmother’s house; outdated, in need of fixing, but sure as hell no one is going to do it. Walk inside, and you are greeted with some plexi-glass type structure. However, never judge a book by its cover. I was greeted with several smiling faces that joked around with me for a bit. My pizza was ready when I got there, and everything looked clean. Onto the food: They serve NY style pizza, that is done well. You can tell thought and care went into the formation of this pie. The crust is soft and doughey, yet flavorful. The cheese is real tasting and not too salty. The sauce is powerful, but not too overbearing. All this comes together to make a nice pizza pie(especially with some ranch) In Sum: Where price meets quality, Pizza Perfect gets a Perfect 5 stars

Anyone who’s lived around the Ypsilanti area for the past decade will tell you that pizza franchisees have come and gone over the years, but only best manage to stay. Given the fact Pizza Perfect serves up some of the best pizza I’ve had in ages, it’s a safe bet they’ll be around for many more years to come. I decided to give them a try, since I don’t live within the delivery range of any Papa John’s franchises, as the local one closed down two years ago. So, there went my chance to obtain a free pizza on Super Bowl Sunday. Therefore, I decided to Pizza Perfect up and order from a local business. I’ve always like Hawaiian Style Pizza, especially with the sweet taste of pineapple. I never know what to expect lately when ordering delivery food, but Pizza Perfect did not disappoint me in the least. Soon, I will have try one of their calzone subs to see what they’re like.

I decided to check out this place after seeing some flyers come in the mail. I ordered a large, salad and breadsticks for delivery. The delivery was pretty quick. The pizza was tasty. I usually get Jets or Hungry Howies most of the time. I think this pizza is worth ordering again, If I had to compare it to Jets or Hungry Howies I would say that Jets was more flavorful. Jets has more sauce but it all depends on ones taste. I would order pizza from here in the future.

Couldn’t believe that it only had 5 star reviews. Then I tried it. Best pizza in the area.

Yep, this place is everything you all said it would be. Delicious, fast, friendly and cheap. What sort of witchcraft and/or voodoo are they performing here to get a crust that good out of an impingement oven? Only sad they don’t deliver to my part of town.

Shockingly cheap and very good. They deliver and it’s usually pretty quick. Breadsticks are awesome.

Three years later and still, hands down, my go-to place for pizza. They were unfortunately closed down for a few months due to a fire and finally were able to reopen. I don’t know if it was the anticipation of being able to chow down on amazing pizza after not having the option for a few months, but last night it was the best it’s ever been. As I’ve said before, you won’t regret getting pizza from here. It’s inexpensive, tastes amazing, and is locally owned. Go here before you support any of the chain stores and you won’t look back.

There was a fire which closed down the shop for a few months. During this time I tried a few of the other pizza shops around town. All I can say is, «THANKTHESWEETBABYJESUSTHEPLACEISBACKOPEN». This is truly the best pizza around. My wife and I got their pizza last night for the first time since the fire closed them, and it was awesome.

Very good pizza. Ridiculous value. Ingredients were fresh. Cheese was very good. Sauce was perfect — Not too salty. You can get sesame seed crust which is a big plus in my book. For a large one topping take out the price was $ 6.19 and just $ 1.10 more per topping. So cheap! Location is a bit rundown but if that helps keep the price of these pizzas so low, I say more power to the owners. I will be back!

Solid NY-style pizza. Best I’ve had to emerge from behind bullet-proof glass.

Pizza Perfect is my favorite go-to pizza place. Why? Here’s a list: 1. The price is awesome! You will not find a cheaper and better tasting pizza anywhere in Ypsi, unless you make it yourself. 2. The food is fast! I can call and show up and my pizza will be ready(99% of the time) Of course, if you order 4 or more pizzas it will take longer. 3. They appreciate their customers! They always seem very nice to customers like me and I can tell they appreciate our business. 4. The pizza is delicious! Why did I waste all of my time and money ordering from a local chain when I could have been eating at Pizza Perfect this whole time?!

Well made, quick, and reasonably priced. I paid $ 4.63 for a small one topping pepperoni… can’t beat that! They have flavored crust as well which is always a bonus.

When you click«five stars» on Unilocal — you get the message: Woohoo! As good as it gets! That sums up my experience with Pizza Perfect! I needed to feed 40 college students for my class at EMU and the 10 pizza’s with 3 toppings deal could not be beat! Each pizza was unique and perfect, the shop opened early to have my order ready and I tipped the crew(not normal behavior for me when I do pick-up), but the service was incredible and after all 10 pizzas were devoured, I realized just how under-charged I was! This will be a new stop for me on the way home from class(and any other excuse I can find to eat here)! The pizza was PERFECT and the customer service, I haven’t felt so appreciated for my business in a long time! Local people, serving local people !

My husband and I were looking for a new pizza place that was affordable and close. Pizza perfect accomplished this. For a large cheese pizza and breadsticks it was under $ 9 for pickup special. It was much tastier than little Caesars, hungry howies, mr pizza, dominos etc. We will be going again in the very near future.

Honestly, I’ve been to every pizza joint in the Ypsilanti-Ann Arbor area and can tell you that this is by FAR the best overall pizza place in the area! The pizza and breadsticks are absolutely incredible, and the ingridients taste like they are very high quality. That isn’t all, the employees are BYFAR some of the nicest, most considerate, down to earth people that I’ve seen in then restaurant business in my life. Each and every time I’ve come in here they are always very genuine, pleasant, and friendly. IFTHATISN’T ENOUGH, they honestly have the best prices in town, i got a large 1 topping pizza and breadsticks for basically $ 7.00… Seriously, Little Caesars isn’t even that cheap. And is NOWHERENEAR the quality of Pizza Perfect. Give it a try, I guarantee it won’t be the last time you go there.

I am so glad we spotted this place while driving through the neighborhood one day. Their prices are super reasonable — a medium 1 topping is $ 5 and change — and you can get all of the same crust flavors you’d find across the street at Hungry Howies. There isn’t really anything special about the place besides the ancient arcade game inside but they make a damn satisfying pizza, good wings, and it’s family owned by delightful people. Often when I call I feel like I’m on the phone with mom(not mine, but an old timey TV mom) because of the warm THANKSHONEY I get at the end. I’ve even been waiting in my car outside for my order to come up & they’ve brought it outside to me so it didn’t sit on the line & get cold. I wish sometimes that they had salads on the menu, but I’m all about a place that sticks to what they’re good at and they do. Don’t let the fact that it’s basically situated in the armpit of a creepy gas station deter you. They’re worth it.

I have been meaning to write a review for this place for some time now. This place really deserves a look. It is just a whole in the wall first all. But from there on everything gets good. The people who take your order are as nice as can be. the last one, a young lady, came outside even with my pizza so I would get it piping hot. So whats the big deal other than these friendly employees? How about some damn tasty pizza! How about prices that will blow your mind at how low they are. A large double cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom was only are you ready for this? 8.00 bucks! It’s damn near 20 at a Mr some place. I will be going to Pizza Perfect more often now that I have moved to Ypsilanti, and away from Ann Arbors best Pizza place, City’s Pizza!
