Tim was my sandwich maker today. He was on the phone while he took my order. I wasn’t sure if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. I had to repeat myself a few times because I think he was distracted. A patron complained saying he always acts like he hates his job. They were out of spinach too.

I can only give 1star. because of sanation that I saw employees handling dough and one person was using a dirty knife to cut sandwiches, when I pointed this out they said“all you had to do is ASK for a clean knife”. So they rinsed the knife only, no soap&I no rinse. After my order they went and sat down and got on their phone. And not talking. Pay them $ 15 an hour, they are worth the $$$$$

This Subway can be okay or terrible depending on who is working the counter. There’s a duo of young girls that, if I see them behind the counter, I turn tail and run. My last visit with these two, they proceeded to make me a sandwich that I KNEW was never going to shut properly(they cut the bread wrong), asked me 3 times if I wanted it toasted… And then, horror of horrors… Covered it in red onions after I NEVER asked for them for onions. When I stopped her, she put MORE on and gave ME the expression of «what?». After I explained my pure hatred of red onion, she brushed them off half-heartedly(leaving a few behind) and asked«what next». The whole sub was onion-taste infected by the time I got it… I took one bite and threw it out. If I see them working the counter, I drive all the way down to the other on on Michigan Ave in Canton. THAT Subway is pretty reliable.

Subways are generally pretty much the same, but this is one of the better ones. They offer spinach as a topping which is not true everywhere, and they follow the standard corporate promotions(I’m disappointed if I can’t get my $ 5 footlongs). Ingredients and bread are fresh, and the staff is pleasant.
