For the niche that Neese’s inhabits, I think it does a pretty decent job. It’s mainly diner food, but where many places would probably be content to serve frozen bagged stuff from Costco, etc, Neese’s seems to at least serve up more fresh food. I had a burger and onion rings, which was pretty tasty. It’s not going to give Sidetrack or Wurst Bar a run for their money, but for the price, it is much more value for the dollar. Prices are VERY reasonable, which is surprising given the above-average quality. My order of onion rings had to have been battered and cooked fresh, because they were definitely not like the frozen stuff I usually get at comparable places. My wife said that her boneless chicken wings even tasted like they were breaded and fried fresh. The desert is good but not spectacular. Apple pie is tasty but just so-so. In the end, for the money you pay here, I would expect far less quality, and that’s where the place really seems to shine. It’s a good place for a quick, tasty meal that won’t kill your wallet, or your tastebuds. We’ll probably make it a fairly regular stop. Everyone that worked there was friendly and the service was good too.

This is a typical diner with menu items of breakfast, burgers, sandwiches and dinners. They are billing theirselves as «Home of the Apocalypse burger. It consists of a 28 ounce burger and trimmings. If you manage to eat it within 20 minutes, it’s free plus they throw in a tee shirt. Apparently, thus far, two men have accomplished this challenge. I did not even think of going there. I ordered the Fried Chicken dinner. Turned out to be boneless chicken breasts and were very good. This is how the review became a four and the only reason. The accompanying baked potatoe was ok. The mac n cheese was bland and tasteless. The salad was lettuce with hand full of tomatoes and some shredded cheese thrown on top. The soup was tastefull, but a tad salty. Waitstaff was friendly. Inside décor is downhome. Will return and try breakfast.
