This place is great! My whole family enjoys eating here. The food is delicious, the place is clean and friendly, the prices are great, and the owners are a wonderful family. I have been eating here for a few years now and I have never been disappointed. If I ever take friends out to eat, I always go here.

Great service, great food and they are open until 9. Those not aware, most places close at 6 or earlier!

I ordered the carne asada burrito for dinner on a Friday. So disappointed with what I got. The burrito was a decent size but it was flimsy and not firm due to the large amounts of refried beans and lettuce in it. Theyre was a bunch of shredded mexican cheese that didnt compliment it. It didn’t have rice which balances consistency in burritos. It was literally just beans, lettuce, shredded cheese, and unappealing carne asada. What really made it disappointing was the large piece of cartilage that was in my burrito. They didnt have the decency to take off the this huge chewy piece of fat assuming the customer(me) was going to enjoy it rather than carne asada. Ricos tacos was actually legit when it was out of the food truck but went down hill for some reason. TB among other places in Yreka honesty are better options if you want ‘Mexican’ food. The service from the girl server was nice but other than that so disappointed. i still can’t get the image of what i pulled out the burrito.

This place is Southern California level of Mexican food quality. Amazing. Ordered two asada, two al pastors, and one Carnitas taco, one nacho supreme, chips and salsa, one steak quesadilla and two drinks. total came out to 38 dollars with a five dollar tip. It all tasted amazing. Being originally from socal I definitely miss good food like this. Glad I found my new spot! The wife loved it too! Five stars. Maybe just a few more limes with the tacos and it would be perfect! Oh and the wrong hours are on here they close at nine.

You couldn’t get a better steak quesadilla. Could use a bit more sour cream and guacamole.

Honestly the most authentic Mexican food in the entire siskiyou county. I love their mini tacos rice & beans. You can’t go wrong. Chips and salsa is amazing along with the quesadillas. I haven’t tired anything else from there but I bet you’ll enjoy anything you order good service as well and food is made quickly!!! Mini tacos only $ 1.50

Mexican Food in this place is delicious. Restaurant is nice and clean inside, but portions for this price should be bigger.

This hidden gem on a random exit from Portland to Northern California was a pleasant surprise! I got 3 tacos — 2 carnitas and 1 chicken and it was really good!!! The reason why this place is 4 stars is because of their chips and salsa. It is SOSOSOSO good. Service is pretty fast so if you happen to be driving through — you should definitely stop by !!

Some not-so-good changes with the new location. Entrée was good but rice and beans lacked the flavor I’m used to at Rico’s. Also, it looks like there’s one person working counter, tables, phone, kitchen etc which can’t help the quality. The new space is dreary and tacky looking compared to the old location. Also, the addition of a TV is not a plus. They’ve since upgraded the furniture to stuff that’s much much more comfy.

This place was great!!! In Yreka there’s not much open passed 8pm. When my husband and I realized how hungry we were after our long drive, we came upon Ricco’s. We both ordered two tacos, mine carnitas, his steak, with rice and beans. We also shared an order of guacamole and a horchata. Where to begin? The tacos were flavorful and super delicious. A little hard to eat with all the filling, but no complaints there. The rice and beans were very good as well. The guacamole was fresh, zesty, and chunky– as was the salsa that accompanied it. The chips were fresh and crispy. Now, the horchata– this is not a mix folks: hands down the best I’ve had. Thick, with the little frothy rice milk floating in it, lots of cinnamon. That young man in the kitchen knows exactly what he’s doing! Thanks so much you guys for the great meal! Leaps and Bounds above«Grandma’s Restaurant» across the street!!!

Very yummy! Nothing fancy, was traveling with a dog and needed take-out. Glad we chose Rico’s Tacos. Ordered the chicken taquitos and two pollo tacos. The taquitos were excellent with great crunch. The tacos had delectable flavor. Also try the green sauce!

Great authentic Mexican tacos in Yreka! Bought 5 mini tacos for $ 1.50 each and tried all of their various meats. Love those corn tortillas with meat, cilantro, onion — yum… Makes me feel like I’m back home eating on off an awesome taco truck down south.

Best Mexican food in Yreka hands down. One the best of all restaurants in town as well. Ample seating, fast service. Many bottled sodas made with sugar, including Mexican coke!

The new location is pretty sparse but the food is great. Warm chips good salsa, both the burritos and tacos were great. Service was cheerful and fast.
