Wish the short hair blonde still worked here. She was awesome. Great service from her and great conversation holder. That’s why I’m rating 3 star. If she was back I’ll rate a 10 if I could.

Stopped in for a bite at 7pm… kitchen closed. What?!? This place used to have awesome food… but new owners took over a year ago and I’ve had to leave twice now… it’s awful these days!

FORWHATITIS: for being a bar in YUBACITY I guess that it’s a decent bar. It’s definitely different from going to a bar in Reno. The drinks are really cheap here. There’s a covered patio with tables and chairs for the smokers. A live«dj» that plays popular music. It is what it is. The inside looks really redneck. Most of the people seemed fit in pretty well. There was a weird tweaker walking around twitching every which way trying to creep on the drunk women. If you like to people watch this this definitely the place!

This is a great bar. The new owners are turning this place into the best spot around. A good crowd with amazing bartenders make it a fun night. This is the second time I’ve been here and it just keeps getting better. Come discover this awesome night scene.

NEWOWNERSANDSTAFF! This place is good clean fun. We’ll made strong drinks at great prices. Bring your friends and join the party! Bartenders are fun cool good people. Clean facility with a huge outdoor covered patio in the back. Nothing else in the area comes close.

This place was such a let down! We drive way out to the middle of nowhere for this place and it sucked. There were alot of people but the drinks sucked. Seriously a long island ice tea for $ 6.50. Okay if its strong! This was honestly the weakest drink I have ever had anywhere. I seriously felt more sober after drinking it. On top of that it took the bartender almost ten minutes to make two. And he wasn’t doing anything else. Also no drink specials. Overall pretty lame. I won’t be going here again, I can do without the lame karaōke songs and girls who think they could dance.

I love this place, I knew there was no review for it here on Unilocal, and I thought it fit that it should stay that way, because although I am down for sharing that which is good, I also protect what I love. I decided to add a review after I found it on google earth, and if its there, its no secret and I had best share with my Unilocalers. First off I am not fan of this area, be it my perception or the insects in summer, I cant wait to leave the area. Having lived for the last 20 years in Sacramento, for someone who prefers friendly people to rude and thinks shopping is the way to enlightenment, feels she is being punished and sent to hell to learn more painful lessons in being grateful and life in general I just want to protect this little pearl from those who corrupt the other 98% of bars in the area. I dont believe I have ever seen an area with so many dive bars. They are everywhere. By dive i mean small dark places with questionable patrons, with unique décor, usually a few doors down from another dive bar, or located in the middle of no place, surrounded by harleys and a dusty parking lot. Some even allow one to sit at a bar in our free country and enjoy thier cancer causing habit and not have to hear the other guy dying of liver failure complain about it. I learned of this bar via my nut farmer landlord, when we were looking for a place to go eat, My husband has lived in the area since 86 and did not know of it. It is a classic country bar, frequented mostly by the farmers in the area and others who stumbled upon it as did we. I haven’t visited the bar enough to know if they have a menu, we came for the steak sandwiches which were highly recommended and very good. The few times we have gone it was never really busy, although the bartender did say at times on Friday and Saturday they attract a pretty good crown. The customers are friendly, and seem glad you have come to thier lil bar as you walk in, even say hello or start a conversation. Simple. They have a pool table and shuffle board as well as a jukebox. Smoking is allowed on the back patio which is covered, and more like another big room, there are some tables and an antique lookin sofa for those who want to feel at home. I had a craving and my heart set on a Happy Time last Sunday evening and they were closed when I got there, so you may want to call ahead for their hours. Update* — First of let me clear up any misunderstanding that i dont like dive bars, because I do, I am more relaxed in a dive bar. The people more real. But when they are everywhere, i think it takes away thier unique quality or appeal. Checked on the hours and if no one is at happy time they will close up and go home early on week nights. About 9ish.
