Love this place always have great food a very friendly service. All there food is good. You must try everything to find witch one you really like the most.

Well haven’t eaten there yet. This is more about website having wrong hours open. Came at 630 last night from rough and ready 40 min drive only to find closed. Should have called ahead I guess to verify open as was a long drive to try and not be open

My husband and I love this place! They have really good burgers that have such a delicious crust on the hamburger patties! The shack fries are so good too! We will be back! :)

Amazing Food!
Kid burgers are super good & perfect size along with zucchini sticks or even the sweet potato fries. A very friendly staff.

Foods not bad but definitely not worth the price… spent 16dollars abd all I got was a corn dog hamburger and a small thing of fries

I Like the shack burger, we usually get the sliders and fried pickles, foods great for the price! Employees are friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Came here a couple times and both times it was really good. Got the guacamole burger which was cooked well and tasted fresh. I love their twist fries. They are very different from everyone else which makes it fun and of course great taste and texture. Just all around good food. The staff is friendly and I’ve never had a bad experience here. The only thing is it’s a bit pricey but I will say it is worth every penny.

Still has friendly staff, great customer service, excellent food. Prices are a little high, but you most definitely get what you pay for because taste buds will be pleased and your palates filled. Still think the fries and soda are over priced for the small amounts you get, in my opinion. The desserts are delightful, such as the fried cheese cake I believe it was? A once in a while treat for my personal burger fix. I like the outside dining area. It’s secluded from people driving by or a large parking lot like many places. Free from veering eyes.
Glad to have a great place like this in town. It’s very close to filling that void I’ve had for many years when this area lost my personal favorite dining establishment, Hal’s Grubsteak. That’s in no disrespect to The Shack of course. It’s actually a compliment.

This place is bomb, they have a lot of burgers to choose from so finding one that you like won’t be a problem.

Brought my family by today for the first time and everybody loved the food. I enjoyed the Bleu cheese burger and a chocolate shake, two of my kids got cheeseburgers and the third got a corn dog, and we kicked it all off with the fried zucchini sticks which were fantastic. Definitely worth frequenting.

Hubby and I just picked up dinner tonight and wow!!!
First off they were closing in 10 mins and still took our phone order. The ladies had Great customer service and my Order was very confusing and they got it all right.
Okay so the food. The shack fries are the best fries we have ever had (and we have had tons) so different but has a great secret sauce and lots of cheese. The shack fries taste like a way better version of animal style in and out fries. The burgers had a great taste and they are huge! Anytime we come back we will come back for burgers :)

Even though I told the cashier this was our first time there, she failed to mention they had two sizes of hamburger patties. I ordered the cheeseburger deal which came with fries and a drink for $ 5.99. When we got home the burger patty was smaller then burger kings. I asked to add mushrooms, paid .50 cents extra and it was not added. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. Total disappointment and not worth the $ 17.00+ we paid.

I am thoroughly impressed. It’s a hole in the wall type place, with limited seating (indoor and outdoor). The burgers were huge!!! I ordered the portobello mushroom burger. It was delicious. Good service!!! I am definitely going to come back and try their desserts!

This place is amazing! Second time here and I love the burgers and shakes here! They use dreyers ice cream so the milkshake is packing with flavor. They have many different burgers to choose from and what I really liked was that there was a picture for each of their hamburger so you can see what you are going to order. I ordered the eggsplosion and it literally was amazing. What I really liked about how they made the burger is that they didn’t over cook the egg so when I took a bite the egg yolk got everywhere.

Well garlic fries are great burger not bad thought it tasted a little undercooked so much cheese and an egg by the time I seen the burger I had eaten two thirds of it definitely undercooked I will try and attach a picture but just tell them to go ahead and cook your burger and all should be good

HAVE AGAIN: The blue cheese burger was really very good. The photo made it appear there was bacon on this burger, but the description did not list bacon. So, that was a slight disappointment. My dining partner had the mini burger which was good but somewhat burnt. The unusual fries were tasty, but a bit too salty. Nice idea, however.
NOT HAVE AGAIN: I love a good chocolate shake made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Since they don’t have the chocolate sauce, I took a chance and had a shake made with chocolate ice cream. It was OK, but I would not have one again.
Too late, I saw they had soft drinks with crushed ice! Next time…

This place is AWESOME! This area is known for little dive burger joints and taquerias. PUT THIS ONE AT THE TOP OF YOUR LIST!!! Not only was the burger amazing but the variety was out of this world: ranchero, cheese skirt, bleu cheese, Eggsplosion, and a ton more that I’ve never seen anywhere else.
The fries are «twisty» and delicious; very unique! And they even have smaller burgers called mini-me’s. And you get a coupon for your first review on Unilocal!
DO IT!

The burger was AMAZING, probably one of the best ever! The garlic fries are different from others in the area, as they have a pile of fresh garlic on top, so unless you really like garlic, I’d get the regular fries. The brownie ice cream sandwich was very good as well!
It’s a small indoor eating space, the majority of seating is outside, so if it’s hot outside, be prepared to have to sit outside if they are busy.

I can officially say I just had the BEST burger in my Life!!! I mean, «Hit the spot perfect», high quality meat/​bun, melt in your mouth juicy flavor … so DELICIOUS.
Don’t freak out when you see the menu with all the fried stuff and don’t think about the calories. The prices are definitely worth it, my total was $ 13.95! I came here today to enjoy my lunch and that is exactly what I did :) Come here to grub some bomb fattening food…
This place is located on 968 Cooper Ave, bright orange colored small building. You can actually see Staples across the street on Colusa, you might want to use navigation to get here because of the side streets. There are a few parking spaces close to the business, I parked on Cooper, had no problems parallel parking. There are two wooden picnic tables out front the order/​pick up window, and also a back patio area. There is not a lot of seating, but it does get busy and in my opinion worth the wait for them to cook your food. I would say while I was waiting, most people were getting their food To Go, plus it was hot around high noon time. Luckily I got some shade and felt comfortable, but I can handle hot weather any day outdoors! If you are sensitive to heat, bring a hat or sunglasses, wear cool clothing so you won’t be uncomfortable outside waiting/​eating. I do not know if they have seating inside? Only looks like a walk up pick up window.
The window has several pictures of their food items on it, and there is a plastic holder menu there near counter where you place your order, which I needed to thoroughly read through to figure out what I wanted. I did not see a menu on the wall outside. Once I saw the Zesty burger, I knew that was the one! I also ordered Shack fries because I saw it on Unilocal from my friend Peter and was curious to try them. He tried the Holy-​Guacamole burger and said it was really good!
The Zesty Fiesta Burger comes with Sriracha, spicy mayo, diced onions, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, bacon, and fresh sliced avocado. I asked for No lettuce. Cost $ 8.99 I loved the placement of all the toppings and patty on the bun, really smart and easy to eat without cutting my burger in half as I usually do at other places. I ate it whole here and no mess :) The Shack Fries, omg, they are like wavy cut jo jo potatoes, really cool twists! Topped with Nacho cheese, it was a great nacho cheese too, yummy Bacon crumbles, pieces of Burger meat, diced red onions, and the special Shack sauce! Cost $ 3.99 They smelled soooooo GOOD, it was such an awesome combination. They even gave me a plastic fork and I didn’t make a mess on myself. I ate my burger first, boy was it Delicious! I could not finish the potatoes, I would like to order again in future, but without Burger meat. I highly recommend trying the Shack fries or perhaps sharing them because as another Unilocaler mentioned, it’s like a meal in itself. They also have skinny french fries, garlic fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries.
Drinks available are sodas, milkshakes, floats, iced tea, coffee, and I saw deserts too, even kids meals! The blonde girl who took my order, didn’t see her name tag, but she was very friendly, great customer service, took my order correctly and had a polite personality. When I asked for a water, she gave me this big cup full of crushed ice, so refreshing it was perfect!!! I guess I was expecting a lil dinky water cup like all the other places… but nope, I had a nice lunch and a big cup of iced water, best part was the crushed ice, really makes A difference compared to ice cubes. After, I asked for a To Go box and a take out menu. Definitely looking forward to coming back :)

Come here often when its less crowded after lunch hours so I don’t have to wait forever for my order… Best times to come, is when the restaurant is slow and its a great way to know your servers/​hostess/​food server in a friendly courteous manner without feeling rushed and having my food order looks like the exact thing on their picture. Namm sayinn…
The Shack has the best customer service ever… Restaurant is very neat and clean, and even the bathroom is well stock in toilet paper… #RealTalk
