There are three 7 Eleven locations in Yucaipa– one at the top of Yucaipa Blvd and Bryant St, one towards the other end of the boulevard by Crafton Hills College, and then there’s this newer one places somewhere in the middle between Yucaipa Blvd and Oak Glen Rd. I already no longer frequent one of the three and it looks like I’ll be adding another to that list. I stopped in on July 11th, aka 7 – 11 or «Free Slurpee Day», and saw their exclusive Mountain Dew flavor«Solar Flare» at the soda dispensers. They also had a sign posted encouraging patrons to download the 7 Eleven mobile app and receive special coupons and offers advertising that on July 12th there would be a coupon for a free Big Gulp. Sweet! I’ll download the app when I get home and grab that Mountain Dew tomars. So I return the following day w/the free Big Gulp coupon open and ready on my phone. I get up to the counter and tell the clerk I have the coupon for the Big Gulp. He says ok and scans it off my phone. It beeps but he informs me it didn’t take the coupon and that it was a limited time offer which it does state on the coupon… it also states that there was 85% available limited offers remaining at the time of my redemption. I showed the clerk and explained this to him who then called over the manager because the manager would be the one to make the decision. So this awesome, polite, and understanding individual(and I use the terms lightly) says that the offer was already expired and other customers were redeeming them all morning. I showed him and told him there was still 85% of the offer available to which he told me he didn’t care what it said online. He looked at me sternly and obviously burdened said he would accept the coupon this time but it would be it and never again. He continued to scold me by saying he already lost too much money from the previous days promotion before he retreated to the back room from whence he came. R u effing kidding me? I am a store manager and deal with the public all the time and if one of my customers came to me with this issue, a 99 cent coupon no less that was promoted directly from their corporation, I would gladly take it, be understanding, and not rudely make the customer feel that this or ANY other free promotion made available to customers from a corporate level was their fault. I’m glad the manager decided to take the mobile coupon, even though it blatantly said 85% if the offers were remaining, but that does not excuse rude comments and behavior. You won’t honor a coupon again from me? Don’t worry, I won’t be back here.

Went in to grab a bottle of water and a snack. Grabbed two bags of peanuts that were 2 for $ 3. After leaving I checked saw that I was charged $ 2.50 each so I was over charged.
