When I die and go to heaven I hope they have Snow Line Apple Cider Donuts there! The people running this place are very friendly and helpful as well.

I love snow line! I always make it a point to stop here when it’s apple picking season up in Oak Glen. I recommend: –Apple/raspberry cider(soo refreshing and delicious) –apple cinnamon donuts –mini apple pies –hard cider –brown bear raspberry wine(if you like sweet wines) Please note you cannot pick apples here, but they do sell pre-bagged apples from their orchard. They also have apple tasting to determine which one you like the most. Snow Line has beautiful fall foliage, perfect for photos, bring your family here for lunch/dessert and you won’t be disappointed!

Snow Line is my go-to place for a wonderful supply of a variety of apples, a big jug of home made Apple Cider, and the Apple Pie was scrumptious! I love the atmosphere of Snow Line and the friendliness. I love bring home several; bags of different kinds of apples to make beautiful jars of fresh, delicious Applesauce and canning several batches to enjoy with slices of cheese. Their donuts, are a real treat and are hot and good. If the line is way long, I’ll settle for a great Apple Pie to take home. I love Snow Line.

Oak Glen is an annual occasion. We always stop here when we come through Oak Glen. Their mini donuts are delicious and a must when you come here. Also fun to sample their hard cider and wine.

whenever we go apple picking for a bit of childhood NY nostalgia it always involves an early stop for some cider donuts at snow line. for the wife it reminds her of cider mill in endicott just way smaller, and especially when this visit she got a dozen without the cinnamon sugar. we got one with and one without and you know what, it was better without. great cider donuts is naturally sweet and amazing just on its own. only down sides are the long waits even when we got there just as they opened, but the cool fall like weather more than made up for it.

This place is famous for their APPLECIDERDONUTS! It’s always a long line, so go early! You get to see the assembly line of how the donuts are made, which was kinda awesome! They also have great RASPBERRYAPPLECIDER Its so good! They have a limited Asian pear cider too which was pretty good. They have a little area for you to sample all these different apples, and cider which is great.

tl;dr: Get some mini apple cider donuts, that’s why everyone else is here, you should expect a line… Remember when you had your first Krispy Kreme glazed donut fresh off the line? Remember the sugar rush? Well the mini apple cider donuts are a little different obviously but the anticipation is the same. The fresh sugary donuts are about the same size as little gem donuts if you know what those are but having them fresh and still warm is the way to go. We finished ours before getting off the premises, ha ha… The donuts are inside the convenience store that sells cider, apples, preserves, etc… but I won’t lie, it felt very touristy in there. They offers samples of cider and different varieties of apples like other places in Oak Glen. You have to remember that the people offering samples are not there at your beckon call, they can get pretty indignant over the mob of people trying to take more than their fair share of free samples as I observed. This is not Costco everybody, show a little restraint… ;) Stuff moves pretty quickly it seems; we came back at the end of the day having been there earlier in the day because my wife wanted to pick up some Jonagold apples and they were sold out. We also came back to buy some apple/raspberry flavor apple cider that is already pressed and bottled in the refrigerator case but I don’t think it’s as good as the stuff we pressed ourselves at Willowbrook(pink ladies)… It’s a narrow path off of the beaten road and it’s not the only thing they have, but everyone goes for the donuts…

Wonderful variety of apples. It’s a little pricey and gets VERY crowded during the high season, but the people are nice and the place is just beautiful. GREAT spot to take photographs too.

This used to be my favorite place to visit in Oak Glen. The last 3 years we’ve taken different friends with us and they’ve been so turned off by the greediness of the owner/employees. This place is family run. Roberta is so rude about people taking samples when they put them out. If you don’t want people to sample the cider and the apples stop putting them out. This year I mentioned this to the cashier which seemed to be running the place. She continued to apologize in a sarcastic way over me speaking to her. When she finished I said to her nothing is going to change either right? She responded probably not! Wow they’ve lost our business!

Snow Line Orchard is adjacent to Rileys at Los Rios Rancho. You have to take a small road(where two cars will squeeze past by each other) for a short bit and then pull up to their dirt parking lot. Although they do not an opportunity for apple picking, the main attraction here is the apple cider mini-doughnuts! Apparently, there is usually a wait. However, when I went this past weekend, there were only three people in front of me. Half a dozen is $ 2.08, so they are pretty cheap! I also got a small apple pie to-go for $ 5. The doughnuts were small and delicious. It didn’t take long for me to go through half of my bag. So I encourage you to get a dozen! Although it did not taste like apple cider, the doughnuts were doughy, cinnamon-y and scrumptious! They were also fresh off the conveyer belt! I tried the mini apple pie later at home and I really liked it! They have three samples of apple cider here for your tasting! There’s raspberry apple cider, regular apple cider, and cherry apple cider. The raspberry apple cider was delicious! And so was the cherry but the raspberry one was super addicting. They also had bottles of hard apple cider for sale. Outside, there were apple orchards, a grassy area where people were lounging and picnicking, and tables seating with umbrellas. It was a charming and quaint little place that I really enjoyed after the hustle and bustle of Rileys at Los Rios Rancho. There is also a fairly clean restroom outside! In addition, the workers were really friendly. I’d definitely come back!

I heard through the grapevine that the apple cider donuts at Snow Line Orchard were out of this world and while I’m more inclined to question such a bold statement, I made it my mission to verify these claims. Conclusion: Definitely out-of-this-world. And who knew that apple cider donuts would be so delicious. When I first arrived at the site there was a line out the door. But don’t be alarmed, they are worth it! These small bite-sized warm and fluffy munchies were the perfect size to pop into your mouth and enjoy on a cold day. Bag of 6 — $ 2.25 Bag of 12 — $ 3.60 Enjoy!

A cute stop while in Oak Glen. There is no actual apple picking here, but they do have raspberry picking, if you are in the mood for that. The gift shop is well stocked with apple/fall goodies. The cider was warm and delicious, it was fairly cold the day we went so the warm beverage was greatly enjoyed. The apple cider donuts are crazy good. I’d go back just for those. The BBQ stand out front was just ok, I’d recommend trying somewhere else or bringing your own picnic. There are lots of good places to sit and enjoy the fall leaves. Be mindful of bees, they love the sweet donuts and apple cider!

The thing that makes this place unique is its mini apple cider donuts. People line up for this thing every weekend. Personally I don’t get the hype. I tried them many years ago and thought they tasted like regular donuts but just smaller. I think this place gained its popularity after being featured on Huell Howser show. It’s slightly off the beaten path in Oak Glen as it’s not on Oak Glen Road. Regardless, people still find their way here for these donuts. I guess it’s worth trying once for curiosity sake but not really worth repeating. Rest of the store has the typical stuff you find at Oak Glen — variety of apples, jams, apple butter, apple cider, apple cider vinegar, candies, and other goodies. Like most places in Oak Glen there’s plenty of samples you can try. This place also has some apple cider samples. On weekends there’s usually another vendor selling BBQ. On my most recent visit A La Minute was also here, selling liquid nitrogen apple ice cream.

Some people in this life have EVERYTHING, but because they do, laziness, apathy and carelessness sets in, causing them to take all that they have for granted. Painfully obvious here at Snow Line. A shitload of apples on the ground everywhere… falling off trees and rotting… but they won’t take advantage of the situation and let you pick your own apples like the other orchards. Probably because they’re lazy. Probably because the owners don’t want to deal with it all. Probably because they don’t care and don’t have the energy(or won’t make the effort) to hire people to put this into action. Who knows. You drive up here and beautiful, precious apples are ALLOVERTHEGROUND, sadly rotting away. I can’t believe people would let so many apples just fall off the tree and rot like that. Then there are the sad, unenthusiastic old people playing pitiful country music… sans smiles. At least smile. Just one little old barbeque vendor(who wasn’t really that bad), but they could’ve had more. HELLOOOO… can we get some people making caramel apples? Can we press some cider? Something? Yes, the mini apple cider donuts and the samples of various apples and apple ciders are all fun… but because you don’t do much else Snow Line, you’re just a glorified convenience store in the middle of nowhere. God forbid the donut machine breaks! What would you offer then? You could be so much more. People get so excited to visit you, only for you to be a letdown because you hardly offer tourists anything. If I owned your place… I’d show you how to do it. I damn sure wouldn’t be taking it for granted.

There was a huge line for the mini apple doughnuts, we skipped this and went inside. They have a big selection of different apples and ciders you can taste, as well as many food items made with apples :) Their cider is delicious, they’ve got raspberry apple, cherry apple and regular. I bought the raspberry apple, it’s so good! I also got a $ 7.95(2lb) bag of their raspberry apple granola, I put on my greek yogurt and my friend used it to make apple crumble. Seriously it’s pretty tasty, you have to try this if you are a granola freak like me. They also do bbq as well, we didn’t try that because it was crowded, but we’ll have to try it next time. Tip– If you shop here, there are 2 lines for checkout, there is a credit card only line and a cash/check only line. The cash line was the shortest(I didn’t wait at all), so bring some cash, otherwise you will wait for awhile in the other line.

The Mini Apple Cider Donuts alone make the trip from LA nearly worth the trek. Only complaint is that I should have gotten two bags as oppose to one(don’t make the same mistake). They also have a large selection of prepackaged apples with numerous varieties to chose from. From everything for eating, juicing, baking, and jamming, this is your one stop apple shop. Lastly, they had a stand dishing out apple cider donut ice cream around the corner. It was

We did a quick stop here specifically for the apple cider mini donuts and the cherry-apple cider/raspberry-apple cider. There was a food truck there with some BBQ and a live band playing. They have a sample area in the back corner of the store where you can sample(for free!) their cider and apples. I loved the rasberry-apple cider; the other two in the group liked the cherry-apple cider more. They both were pretty darn good. We also grabbed some of the apple cider donuts while we were there. They were delicious, but to be honest they reminded most of us of churros, not apples. If we hadn’t been told they were apple cider flavored we would’ve had absolutely no idea. Overall, it was a great quick stop. Maybe next time we’ll stay for a bit longer. :)

I wasn’t there to pick apples. I saw the signs advertising the hot sugar coated apple cider fresh donuts and it was ON. There’s a roped line guiding customers to the little nuggets of hot tasty morsels, so you know they must be the hot ticket in town. A bag of 12 was around $ 3.50 and a deal. We scarfed them down and split a pint of raspberry apple cider. Sugar overkill. Diabetes is definitely in my future. Snow Line Orchard had a variety of apple slices to sample. I was surprised at the differences in the flavors from tart to sweet. But the prices on a bag of apples was STEEP. They claim to have the oldest chestnut tree this side of the Mississippi. I didn’t know what a chestnut tree looked like so I had to google image it to track the sucker down. Then a little worm in my brain started churning out«Under the spreading chestnut tree the village smithy stands, the smith a might man is he with large and sinewy hands.» God, I haven’t thought of that poem in 40 years. HWL, thank you very much. Lots of people, lots of kids. But the donuts made me forget all that and enjoy the moment. If you’re heading to Oak Glen, I’d highly recommend stopping here.

There was a a very long line when we first pulled up we didn’t know what it was for but we stood in it. Lol. Mini apple cider donuts is what the line was for. They were featured on the food network and thus have caused quite a sensation. Honestly I didn’t notice any apple cideryness to the donuts. They were just fresh, slightly mushy(due to coming right off the press) tasting mini donuts covered in granulated sugar and cinnamon. Delicious little treats especially when we washed them down with the refreshing raspberry apple cider which was pressed on location. There was also cherry apple cider and plain but with the u-pick raspberry patches surrounding the property we were inspired to get the raspberry flavor. There are sampling stations all around for the different flavored cider and varieties of apples Snowline grows. Hudson gold apples were a special variety that we fell in love with. They taste kind of like an Asian pear. They were a great discovery here at Snowline. $ 14 for a bag. Prices are steep but you know that you are supporting the local grower so you don’t feel too bad for paying it. Season for them is only 2 months long. Besides the apples are freshly picked and pesticide free. The worm holes you find in some of the apples attest to that. My friends had brought me some pink lady apples from here earlier in the week that were greenish on the outside but bright pink on the inside. They were really pretty and I could see why the kids were attracted to them. Great unusual varieties of organic, fresh local apples. Great place to start your visit in apple country. Between the cider donuts and raspberry cider I didn’t get a chance to try their apple cider float but I wish I had!
