On a recent visit to oak Glenn I noticed the sign for peddlers pack store so I walked up to find out what type of store it was. The owner then came running out telling us to «get off his property» and that we were«trespassing«I then apologized and told him«isn’t this peddlers pack? It says customer parking» He then said«go get, get outta here!» Ranting and raving«didn’t you see the closed sign!» I then apologized again while he was threatening to call the police in front of my 6 year old grandson. We were only admiring the alpacas and peacocks which they state are there for everyone to see and enjoy. While walking back down the hill he continued to scream at two small children playing in the snow. I have never been treated so bad by a small business owner closed or not and will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone!

A gem of authentic, craftsman goods amidst the overly touristy town.(Not that we don’t appreciate apple in every humanly possible form!) The couple who own and run the place are salt of the earth — really kind, sweet wonderful people. And even if handmade alpaca knitwear, jewelry, heirloom brooms, oils, body products(and more) aren’t your thing, take your kids to check out the alpacas and maybe grab a little gift for somebody to support this wonderful local business. Or just go chat away with the owners, you’ll be glad you did. Alpacas have a knack for collecting great people.
