Wow, I was shocked that a person (Kathy F) gave this store a 1 star review, Until I looked at all her Unilocal reviews. Out of her 33 total reviews, 18 were 2 stars or less. So she is obviously very hard to please!
Anyway on to my review, I have found that in the last year or so this store has taken on a total transformation. The new refrigerator system is modern and easy to access. The store is always spotless inside and out. The clerks and baggers are always very friendly and waiting to help me unload my cart as I approach the checkstand. The parking lot attendants are always willing to help load your car while keeping the carts away from parked cars and inside the store. The produce department has always been very professional and willing to cut a piece of produce for me to try if its something that I haven’t tried. The Deli and meat department are always clean and the workers are also vey helpful. I also read where someone didnt care for the meat. I have been shopping at Staters for over 25 years and the meat department has always had great meat and great prices compared to the competition. I think the person cooking the meat should take some responsibility instead of hammering the meat department for one bad steak. Anyway, I am very happy to have this as my home store. Great job Staters keep up the good work!

Some of the worst meat I’ve ever had. Two boneless ribeye cooked medium-​rare sous vide method. Meat was difficult to cut with a sharp steak knife. Don’t waste your money on this saddle leather!

Can’t say enough about Pieter, the meat guy. He saved me pocket book from going completely broke at the RESTAURANT DEPOT in Colton. For 10pcs/​8oz of new York steak I paid $ 13/​lb. At stater brothers I paid $ 5.99/lb. What a difference???

Zero stars if it would let me. Now I know why our neighbors and friends don’t come here anymore. Awful service EVER. I will be writing to corporate about this!!!
In a nutshell… spend $ 300 on groceries here and bagger tries to accused me of trying to steal a $ 1 item. I have never in my LIFE been treated and insulted like that!!! No one help me unload groceries but asks lady with less groceries if she would like help, after she finished she looked at me and kept looking at other people to help. (Wow that tell u don’t buy much here, they won’t want to help if u have too much). Checker isn’t friendly and doesn’t even say hi and they don’t even offer if you would like help out!!!
I can buy 5 items at Von’s on Yucaipa Blvd, have a friendly checker, a bagger that isn’t a disrespectful punk kid and I would still be asked if I would like help out. Now that is where I would like to spend my $ 600 month on groceries! Go VONS!!!
I will now be driving a little further to VONS like my neighbors do to. After 8 years living here, I now agree with them… VONS it is!

Selection was good today but the prices seem to be rising these days. The deals that stater bros have been famous for the last year seemed to be nonexistent tonight.

I’ve been going to Stater Bros for years but this is hands down my favorite one. The store is always so clean and well stocked. Not only that, but the staff is so nice, helpful and incredibly friendly. I always love coming here because everyone makes it a point to be nice and professional. Out of the three in the Yucaipa/​Calimesa area, this one if definitely the best.

This store is always crisp, clean and well stocked. Well lit, and the managers are almost always on the floor. Wonderful, especially compared to Yucaipa’s Vons, which is filthy and always understaffed, under stocked, and very chaotic.

Workers here are very attentive. Love buying my groceries here. Prices are great and produce is fresh.

i was visiting a friend in oak glen so i stoped by this stater bros. man this store was put together and it wasnt packed like the one i go to in south fontana i swear i could hear crickets and my own echo! not really but yeah it wasnt crowed like im use to and that was nice the deli clerk was very friendly and talkative she even told me a joke. the check out was super fast no line wow im really thinking of moving out toward this way its beautiful and not crowed.

There are three Stater’s in the area (one of them being in Calimesa), although they are all equally good, I love this Stater Brother’s the best!
It’s in a great location (a drive for us when in town) it seems larger, service is excellent, never crowded, quality fresh & excellent, great parking, it’s plus, plus all around.
Again, when in town, I’m there!
