Concealed weapons carry class, taught by a member of the Fernandina Police Dept, is less than 2 hours long. Costs about $ 53.
It will prepare you so you can make an appointment at the Dept of Agriculture for Fast Track, where you complete the application on their computer, have it checked, do fingerprinting, all in a one stop, and it is verified before being forwarded to Tallahassee. Your permit comes in the mail in approximately 10 days.
*Bring a money order for $ 117 when you do the Fast Track.
SAI has a varied selection of rental weapons to try before you buy. Been eye-​balling the Judge? Try it in their indoor firing range!
There is a ‘lounge’ for annual members who purchase membership. There are also special events and contests posted.
Restrooms get a 2 — they are unisex restrooms and me thinks they always need a cleaning and perhaps some readily available cleaning items.
