Second Amendment Guns and Range

A nice facility with 6 stations. The place is clean, well run, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, a very good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there the next time I’m in the area.

Really good range. Allows steel cased ammo and rapid firing. Staff is really friendly and helpful with all your needs. Recommend for all military in the area. They also rent full auto weapons and silencers. Great membership plans as well.

New to the gun range scene. Did seem a bit small upon my initial visit but after a few visits I got used to it. I have been there 3 – 4 times and each time has been hassle free. The people that I have bumped into on the range seem to be there for the same reason that I am — to expend some rounds and unwind a bit. The facility is easy in and out without any hassles. The guys behind the counter are friendly enough.

Went in Saturday to shoot with my Dad and was pleasantly surprised. I had been in a couple times before and either the range was closed for repair or the staff was terrible. Not Saturday. The staff was very pleasant and friendly and the range was in full working order. Glad to see it turned around since they are the only game in town.

I’ve shot here numerous times, and this is by far the best place to shoot locally around Jax. The range isn’t as busy as the other ones around town. Knowledgeable staff, clean facilities, and air conditioned lines. They have a HVAC system, including state-​of-​the-​art HEPA filtration, which makes shooting in the heat of summer or in the chill of winter a healthy and comfortable experience. They allow to bring your own pistols, rifles, targets, eyes, ears, and ammunition as long as they conform to the following rules…
1. Steel-​core ammo prohibited
2. Shotguns prohibited (exceptions made for limited use while patterning)
3. Ammo travelling at a rate higher than 3600 feet per second prohibited
4. No paper plate targets allowed
Their range consists of six shooting lanes 23 yards deep. They have automated target carriers and demarcation lines at 7, 10 and 15 yards. They also have a handful of weapons you can rent, as well as any safety gear you may need.
They also offer different classes — CCW, ladies classes, and NRA courses. They also have a gunsmith if you need help with your gun. Which I’ve used before and he’s a great guy!
The reason I didn’t give them 5 stars yet is because it is somewhat of a small facility. I know they have been thinking of expanding their range, and would really like to see that happen as well as allowing shotguns on the range. When they do that I’ll bump it to 5. Otherwise this place is awesome.
