I found a gem of a restaurant. Not only is the food terrific but the staff are so nice.

This is a small, cute little place with exceptional service and extremely tasty Thai food. We came in as a quick stop for lunch on a road trip back to San Diego. The owner(Ms Chan) and her husband both helped us, explained the food when we asked questions, and made our whole dining experience very pleasant and memorable. We filled up on great food and even had some leftovers to take home for dinner… yum. To top it off, they brought a special treat for our kids and gave us an ice chest full of ice to make sure we kept cool and safe on the hot drive home. It’s always great to find and support a family business run by caring people who really know how to cook! Here’s what our kids had to say: «The soup, fried rice, and ice cream were really good. My favorite part was that they took care of us and gave us free ice.»

My husband and I were traveling from Scottsdale to San Diego and decided to stop in Yuma for a bite of lunch. Wanting to try something new, we checked reviews of restaurants on Unilocal and chose to eat at a Touch of Thai. We’re glad we did! The food was exceptionally delicious, and the owners couldn’t have been nicer. We began with the fresh rolls(lettuce and other vegetables wrapped in rice paper), after which my husband ordered the Panang Curry — Thai hot, and I had the beef noodle soup(phở). Both were exceptionally good! We will definitely come back on our next trip through Yuma, AZ!

A Touch of Thai LLC /Red Rose San Chan makes each person’s order individually which is great for custom spiciness, but takes just a little more time. This seems to be the only Thai place in Yuma; it was seemed unique to us because it was additionally Ukrainian and had vegetarian options. Definitely authentic and fragrant. We ordered Thai chicken wings and red curry to share between two people. The rice came in a heart shape as did the sauce dish for the plum dipping sauce, which was lovely. There was so much flavor to each dish, the chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the curry some of the best we’ve had, and the two items filled us up!

This is the first time we have been here. Came here because of Unilocal reviews, we absolutely loved it! Food was excellent, fresh and hot. Even the bathrooms were clean! We had the Pad Thai, loved it! And the fried bananas were great too.

We tried this place. The curry was great but I couldn’t eat the shrimp dish I ordered. Way too hot and I like hot food. I think their heat scales goes from 1 to 5 and I picked a 3. If I go again I’ll try a 1! The 3 was just HOT, I couldn’t taste the food and it gave me a stomach ache, and I barely ate any. The service was good and the owners/staff were very friendly. I also ordered the fresh rolls, which were mostly lettuce wrapped in a rice paper roll. They were tastey but over priced IMO. Overall I left disappointed as I could not eat my dish and felt the cost of the meal out weighed what I did enjoy. I accept responsibility for not ordering a lower number. I’ll probably try them again.

I’m not sure if they are changing their name to the«Red Rose» or to «A Touch of Thai.» In any case, a bit confusing. Who would have imagined a Thai restaurant in a strip mall on the eastern outskirts of Yuma, Arizona? But sure glad we made a point of going. We were a party of six. We had everything from Pad Thai to Pad Se Eu to Panang Curry. Everybody was shocked it was so good. Definitely recommended.

The sign says«Red Rose» but it’s the same place. Excellent food! Beef noodle soup was best ever! Son had Pad Grapow and finished it all in minutes. Not sure what the wife had but she finished most and took some home as usual! Owners and 3 kitchen employees came by to chat. Very friendly!!! Long drive from Riverside for the grand opening of the Yuma Territory Live Streamers new park facility. Between the miniature railroad and the Thai restaurant, it was a worthwhile over nighter!

I have only tried a few things on the menu. Every time I have gone in or called in for take out, I have gotten excellent service. The food is always delicious and consistent! The Fresh(spring) rolls are my go to menu item. They’re tamari dipping sauce compliments them well. It is definitely a hidden gem.

This place has the best Pad Thai! I got a level 3 spice and it was just right(I enjoy spicy food and put Sriracha on nearly everything if that helps you gauge it at all). We also got perogis and sausage— it was my first time and I thought it was delicious! My bf is polish and he enjoyed it as well. The woman who owns the joint is wonderfully nice and the atmosphere is very authentic. My fav Asian spot in Yuma!

This place is family owned by a husband and wife couple — they are super cute and very attentive! My friend and I both ordered curry dishes(Red and Panang) which were great. The rice was also really cute and came in a heart shape, lol… but it has to be ordered separately. We also got the spring rolls as an appetizer and fried banana ice cream for dessert. I don’t know why some others on here have complained about the portion sizes, they were pretty standard. Actually the fried banana ice cream portion was pretty generous! AND delicious. If I lived in Yuma, I’d definitely be a regular customer.

I have been here several times and like everything I have had. Tonight we started with a#60 as a appetizer. The person I was with had never had a perogy before. They put grilled onions and a large chunks of smoky bacon on top of it. It was as good as a place in Poland that I had them last year. Next we had fresh rolls add shrimp. You can taste all the freshness of the vegetables they cut for these. Then we had the fantastic fried banana dessert so we didn’t run out of room at the end of our meal. Pineapple fried rice seemed interesting and when I came out it was fantastic. It is nice and sweet with big chunks of pineapple and raisins and assorted other vegetables a nice pieces of chicken and egg in it. They had a special on an avocado green curry which we added chicken to and it also had a great assortment of vegetables a couple large prawns and chicken. It had probably a whole avocado sliced on top and a very rich and creamy tasting green curry. The lady behind us ordered the ox tail soup and says it is amazing! That is worth the trip back just to try the giant delicious broccoli bowl of oxtail soup.

Excellent Phở, incredible service! Small little place, nothing fancy, but so far the food was excellent — I can’t wait to try their curry! I stopped by this restaurant a little to close to closing time one night looking for some great noodle soup — I wasn’t disappointed. They had actually locked their door, so I kept walking because I felt a little embarrassed. They must have heard me and hurriedly unlocked the door and convinced me to come in and eat. I needed a good bowl of phở and some curry — but I only had enough room in the stomach for the phở. I’m not sure that’s what they call it since this a Thai restaurant and not a Vietnamese restaurant — but it has very similar flavors. The soup was off the hook good! I met the owner and she was so polite and accomodating. I even asked her lots of question about the Thai culture and their food — it was a lot of fun. I can’t wait go back, I’ll give an update.

The food is pretty good for Yuma, but the price is a bit high for the quantity you get. I don’t think it’s a very good deal, but if you are looking for some good Asian food(especially Thai food), this is the right place to come!

Divcha moye horoshe, Chi znayesh moi sni — Shyo ya tebye kohayu Iz sirom pirogi – Ukrainian Folk Song Yeah, yeah. I know. It’s about pies not the other kind but who’s gonna know, right? Close enough. So I was travelling from the ocean back to the desert and somewhere along the way — Yuma to be exact — there was a place where you can get pierogy! PIEROGY! Oy mamochki — in Yuma of all places. So I got off the I8 at Fortuna exit and went south and right on the right was a mall. The mall is full of other businesses such as: Tiki Hut Frozen Yogurt, Subway, Cups, O’Reilly’s, Radio Shack, Crazy Earl’s Cocktails & Pool, Da Boyz Pizza, Sesame’s Kitchen, Dairy Queen, and Foothill Shoes. Right next to Foothill Shoes at the edge of the building is Red Rose. I walked in and ordered the number 60. Nine bucks gets you perogy, sausage, and cabbage rolls(golubtsy). Can’t beat that with a tire iron. Lady who took my order was very nice and the food came out quickly even though it was crowded with a large group in the middle of the restaurant. I got my plate and pretty much dove right into it. All that driving can make a guy hungry. I came here strictly for this meal — just happened to find out about it on Unilocal. It’s like one of those matryoshka dolls. A Ukrainian dish hidden inside of a Thai restaurant. Was it good? Just like babushka used to make, comrade. In Yuma of all places. And not even the Yuma Palms or 4th Avenue or any obvious hipper or trendier or touristy place like that but out in the boonies/outskirts part of Yuma just before you get to the Border Patrol station. Well it hit the spot and I was ready to hit the road again quite refreshed. Will definitely be back for that again. Maybe even try something Thai along with it next time.

I ordered a takeout.#42 from the menu. It was wrapped in an aluminum foil packed inside a foam box so it was very clean. I was a little surprised as I didn’t expect that. The food was tasty and the person who helped me was very friendly. The only downside is the portion was not big.

Ok, I have given this place a second chance after coming here in the winter and I must say it has completely and utterly won me over :). This is probably one of the only if not THE only restaurant in all of Yuma with some variety. If you want PHO, come here and get the oxtail noodle soup, the broth is the best I’ve ever had. The owner is so nice and even offered to make me something off the menu to try it, that’s excellent. So happy to see this place has grown on me and is doing so well. Oh and let’s not forget the Ukranian pierogis! Go here now, do it.

This was dinner on the way to SD from PHX. We drove into the shopping center and just randomly chose it since it was different. We had spring rolls which the kiddos liked and shared 2 main dishes: a spicy beef and then a house specialty with chicken & shrimp noodles. It was a good place to eat, nothing stood out but it satisfied all our hungers and we licked our fingers.
