Yuma is a small town and this is the only stand alone theatre that I know of. We have seen performances in this theatre but some performances are also held at high schools around town. LOCATION: Downtown near many cute restaurants and bars. Right across the street from the winery The Main Squeeze. The theatre hosts visiting shows as well as local performances throughout the year. FACILITY: They do sell soft drinks and snacks to include popcorn and candy for cheap($ 3 for a large soda for example). No alcoholic drinks sold here though. Theatre is clean and not overly ornate. Seats are comfortable and there is only 1 floor of seats(no balcony levels). No problems with the sound quality. PRICES: Tickets are cheap! I am not used to such cheap prices after moving to San Diego, CA. Our tickets were only $ 10 each for The Odd Couple, which was a great play. Funny and entertaining! We had no problem walking up and purchasing a ticket right before the show. PARKING: Usually no problem finding street parking. There is also a parking lot across the street behind Lutes Casino. All free parking. CONCLUSION: You can find some good quality local talent in this small town and The Yuma Theatre is a great venue. I would come here again!
