Absolutely THEBEST custard in the area. We love the banana splits too! It’s a summer seasonal spot, so call ahead & make sure they’re open! Tomorrow(September 13th) is the last day for 2015!

Coming to Young’s is a family tradition. I cannot leave harmony/Zelienople without stopping at Young’s. The foot-long hot dog are the best! And you can’t go wrong with the flavor of the day(my personal favorite is Maple) it’s nice going somewhere where you and your family are remembered and everybody is nice and pleasant.

New people seem to be a bit confused on how to actually *get* to Young’s. I’m sure there’s an address to put in the GPS, but I have no idea what it is. Here are the directions: From I-79: get off at exit 88(Harmony/Zelienople/Seneca Valley), make a right onto Little Creek Rd. Make sure you are heading toward US19& away from Seneca Valley schools. When you get to the T in the road, that is US19. Make a left. Go past Northgate Plaza(if you want pizza later, you’ll want to remember there’s a Monte Cello’s there), cross a little bridge & enter downtown Zelienople. Stay on US19/Main St. for 2 lights. Make a right at the 3rd light(Beaver St, PA68 west — there’s a bank on the corner). Watch for ducks at the duck crossing. Beware of construction and a winding road. Be careful, people wipe out all the time on this stretch of road because they are not paying attention. That is why there’s now construction to straighten the road. Back on point… get to the top of the hill. You will see a church, then a cemetery & after that is the best place on earth, Young’s Custard stand. …or you can just put 40.768657,-80.174929 into your GPS, phone, or nav system. Also, I cannot stress this enough. Young’s is CASHONLY.

Young’s is delicious. I used to come right here after school with my neighbors and grab some ice cream. They have a special soft serve flavor that comes out every few weeks and I always wait for pistachio. They also have black raspberry, maple, blueberry… They also serve burgers and fries. From what I can remember, mine was pretty good. It’s a great place. Very small, no bathrooms, and in the middle of nowhere. There is a huge parking lot, but only a few places to sit so trucks or popping open the trunk and sitting in the back are ideal.

I’ve been going to Young’s for over 25 years and now I have the pleasure of taking my kids. The prices are cheap and the ice cream is cold. The kid’s servings are too large and I’d suggest asking for half the amount. A medium is as large as I’ve gone and I imagine a large could feed two love birds.

This is my favorite place to get a sweet treat in the summer time. The frozen custard at Young’s is always delicious. They always have chocolate, vanilla and twist, and they have a third flavor that changes frequently… Black raspberry, peach, strawberry, maple, pistachio, banana, tangerine. They serve sundaes and milkshakes, too. It’s smooth and delicious, and FAR cheaper than the chain ice cream shops.

Youngs custard stand is right along Rt. 68 just west of Zelienople going towards Rochester/New Brighton. It is a traditional ice cream /frozen custard stands with the windows & no inside seating(or bathrooms). They have the soft serve«frozen custard» and they also have scoop ice cream, though I have yet to see anyone actually eating that. They have a grill with burgers & hotdogs & such. though I have yet to see anyone getting that, either… Great place to drive & get some soft-serve… it is awesome, out in the country — sit on one of the picnic tables or by your car. There are usually young people with their pickemuptrucks going in & out & parking in the back. Awesome country atmosphere… awesome soft serve. Great place to be on a summer evening.
