Mom and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful 3 night stay in the teepees! We had the most amazing breakfasts every morning! I would not change a thing! Pepper and Tiffany are such wonderful hosts and are truly special people helping so many horses and dogs. We also did the horseback wine tour to Silver Lake Winery and Cultura where I bought wines at each(Pepper kindly brought them back so we could continue on with the horses). They provided everything you need for a campfire outside your teepee including a smore kit! We were lucky enough for a full moon and views of Rainier. I will be back and bringing my pup next time. Highly recommend!

An amazing experience! We started the day with the horse back ride winery tour, followed by a twilight bath, dinner and ending the night with s’mores. Pepper’s attention to detail and delicious food made me feel at home. Tiffany and her crew made sure everyone was safe while visiting the wineries and riding the horses. We admire the love and dedication Pepper has for her horses and look forward to go back to support her rescue program.

What an awesome experience. Started the day With a wine and agriculture tour. Chose the cowboy limo hay ride rather than the horse back ride to visit the wineries and ride through the orchards. Saw and tasted different types of Apple’s and grapes. Pepper would stop and pick them and then let us try them. She explained allot about the process of growing apples and other fruit. We saw peaches, apricits, Rainer cherries and pears. Pepper thought of everything, she stocked the cowboy limo with crackers, meat and cheese tray, dates and fresh picked apples for the ride, she also had blankets and umbrella s just in case, but we didn’t need it was a perfect day about 75 degrees. At night we visited the furniture warehouse and watched an auctuon while we ate dinner. We returned to cherrywood b and b and started a fire in the chiminee and then went to the twighlight tubs for a long hot bath while watching the stars. After we retired back to our teepee and made smores(the ingredients were provided in our teepee). Then off to bed and yummy bed with heated blankets. Since we are from the east coast we woke early to watch the sunrise in the beautifully red painted sky while we listened to the horses, coyotes, cows and cats and dogs. Tea and coffee served at 7 and wonderful breakfast at 9am. Cowboy casserole, tomatoes with goat cheese and basil, cantaloupe with prosciutto and a lovely homemade apple crisp with fresh whipped cream. Prefect visit! If you get a chance go but you’ll have to wait until next year because this weekend was their last for this year.

This place is incredible! We came for the horseback riding and wine tour and stayed overnight in the teepees. Everything was well prepared, and no detail was overlooked. We even had a s’mores kit in our fridge! And flashlights, which was great, since we had forgotten some. Everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful, our guides were so wonderful, and they really made our afternoon of wine tasting and riding memorable. Oh! And the lunch! Delicious! And don’t forget about the most amazing breakfast we just ate! Sooooo good!!! Last night we also used the soaking tubs, and I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. The stars were AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about this place and I will definitely come back when I can!

This is one of the coolest things we have ever done(and we have traveled a lot)! Everything about how it is setup is well thought out and executed. The food is amazing, the experience is something everyone should try! We will be back to do the horse rides as well!

You want to sleep in a teepee and still be comfortable? Do it here. Comfy bed, warm blankets when you need them and an oscillating fan when you don’t. Cell reception works just fine. If your phone gets low on juice, plug it into the outlet next to the fridge and bedstand. It’s a fine set up and the space inside the teepee actually feels quite roomy. Want to go horseback riding + tour wineries? Do it here. All the horses are rescue horses which means they will charm you silly. Drink some wine at the local tasting rooms. Eat a delicious sack lunch served with ice cold water, which you will thoroughly enjoy. Trot back to basecamp with your ass sore and your muscles tired but your spirits high. Maybe you want to light the grill and throw some food on the BBQ, toast some smores? Do it here. Grills, fuel, lighters, and grilling accessories are provided. You just need to bring the food and beverage. Your butt will praise you for the cushioned seat and your eyes will soak in the gorgeous sunset over the neighboring vineyards and orchards. Care for breakfast on the patio with a beautiful flower arrangement and full service? You got it! Do it here. Ice water, orange juice and coffee or tea. Delicious warm and freshly served danishes! Eggs, sausage and fruit dish to follow. Love it! Love the location. Love the horses and the owners’ ambitions. Profits here go back into the horses. 30 some horses on the property and they are all rescues. I’m recommending this one to all my friends. LOVE it!

Amazing! We’ve been to Zillah quite a few times and always wanted to stay in the teepees. We decided at the last minute to drop the dogs off at the PetsHotel and take a furkid less weekend away. We pulled up to Cherrywood about 1 and were greeted by Terry. He was very nice and gave us a tour of the place. The teepees have an amazing view. You have quite a bit of privacy from the other teepees. We spent a good hour just staring up at the sky at night. It was so beautiful, calm, peaceful. It’s pretty hard not to be amazed. Breakfast was… let’s say it… amazing! They serve breakfast in the yard looking out over the valley. Fresh fruit, coffee, cream to start off with. Yummy orange juice. Our next course was sopollis? They were puffed pastry type of things sprinkled with powdered sugar. They came out warm with honey butter. I would have been happy with just this for breakfast. Next came an amazing dish. It was like a salad for breakfast! Spinach, egg, bacon, potatoes, onion with a white truffle sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking of it. If you have a chance, stay here. It’s definitely worth it. It’s a great experience and everyone is super friendly.

The unexpected pleasure of Cherrywood is that each time I go, I learn more about horses, more about cooking, and more about the good life. I have been riding at Cherrywood for several years, and it feels more like home each time I go there. I have experienced everything from their retreats, wine rides, Joe Wolter clinics, and special events, and in every case, whether I am riding my horse, or one of the ranch horses, I’ve always had a wonderful time. Everything is authentic, from the good ranch horses, savory ranch cooking, and relaxed cowboy style. Pepper and Tiffany have a way of making you feel at ease, at home, and at rest. Ask if Pepper’s morning hash brown bake is on the menu… sinfully delicious! Cherrywood is simply a place where good people, doing the right thing by horses, dogs, livestock and guests, can arrange things in such a way that you can have the experience that fits your situation, be it learning something new, tasting something different, or simply sitting on the porch swing and enjoying the view. Can’t wait to go back. See ya soon, Pepper!

I LOVECHERRYWOOD! Pepper and Terry the owners are absolutely delightful. Our group of girls just finished our second outing there – arrived on Friday and took baths outside in clawfoot tubs under the stars. We woke up to a delicious breakfast made by Pepper(fruit, frittata, baked brie in puff pastry) then took our winery tour via horseback. Keep your wits about ya… your horse is your designated driver and you still need to be able to stay in control. Sunday we spent the day at Ummelina spa in Yakima. After a weekend in teepees, in the dust on horses, the rainforest room and a massage was the perfect ending to a wonderful weekend. Ummelina Yakima is also right next to a wine store called Stems, and although we should have detoxed we ordered a couple bottles and had them delivered to the spa. In one word, awesome
