The food is fresh and delicious. We love eating here whenever in the area. Judy is a breath of fresh air!

Perfectly cooked egg foo young, very impressed. Best egg foo young around. Fluffy egg patty.
Orange Chicken is also another plus. Chicken was crispy, sauce was glazed onto the chicken. Only knock is it did not come with broccoli; something that I have come to expect with a good orange chicken dish.
Portions are huge.

We ordered a «two in the basket» dish that was supposed to come with a «crispy potato basket». Just to find out when we got home that the only offer that portion of the meal as dine in. It was a huge fail, as the entrée on the menu said beef and shrimp and we opened a box of chicken and veggies. The chicken and veggies tasted good, however we were very disappointed in the service there.
Also, count your bill up, I read a review talking about how they add tips. We ordered 40 dollars worth of food and paid about 50 walking out the store.
Crab Rangoon is a no. Tastes like they put plain cream cheese into a wrapper. Egg rolls are not very impressive either. Tastes like one you could get from the freeze isle.
Overall: I would order again, but only in small orders. I would probably just get an egg foo young, and orange chicken, in order to keep the bill small.

Food is average Chinese. We ordered delivery and they added about .50 to every item we ordered as a «tip». We didn’t realize it until after we tipped the driver. Check your receipt.

Good Chinese take-​out. Friendly. Have ordered from here twice in past several months. Both times the food was good. Will order from here again!

First of all the portions are HUGE. They don’t have a kids menu but it’s not needed since there was plenty to share! The egg drop soup was amazing! The place doesn’t look the best but the food tasted great and the service was great too! Would def come back!

Whey Chai has been at this location for years. I give it five stars for the food alone and it’s one of my favorite «hole in the wall» places just like I remember having a choice of when I lived down in Chicago. If you are looking for up to date décor, snappy service, and are germophobic go to Applebee’s down the street. If you are looking for authentic Chinese and Mandarin cooking this is the place. It’s the best in Lake County. And yes… they do have carry out for those you can’t take the atmosphere.

Dirty tables, creepy atmosphere, bad food. Stay away.

Walked in the door one Saturday for lunch and turned right around. The place was disgusting with dirty tables from a party the night before.

Great food! They give you a lot of food for a good price. The menu has many, many dishes to choose from, and is delicious. The woman that always greets and serves us is very kind and always remembers us and our friends. Service is quick and food is fresh. Quiet atmosphere and love coming here.

The menu is huge as it includes both Mandarin and Cantonese.
This means they have Low Mein, Chow Mein, Chop Suey, Sweet and Sour, Moo Shu… well the menu is 8 pages so it takes awhile to read.
The place is a regular restaurant with many places to sit with authentic décor. Everything is also available in take-​out.
I really like the lunch special which includes 3 meat entrees and fried rice for under $ 5, they will ask what you want for entrée.
Closed on Tuesdays.
Really good Chinese food.
