I’d been here for drinks a few times and love the atmosphere. Down in the basement with barrels on the walls and beer mugs from all over the world. Then I had dinner last night. Everything on the menu looked good and everything we ordered was amazing. Quick service also. Loved it. May be my new favorite place. We had the chocolate stout, chili k-so, and la Rosa chicken pasta.

Don’t miss this place just because it’s tucked in the neatly arranged Zville community of Stonegate! Love the tidy, cozy pub atmosphere of the Carolina Grill & the Tap Room downstairs. The Tap Room is everything you wished your basement would be: through a brick archway you find a hefty remnant of the historic«longest bar on the East Coast», dart board, pool table, and both booths and tables to choose from. But the Tap Room is more than atmosphere… There’s great service and the entire Carolina Grill menu is available. The tenderloin was voted best in Zionsville, and frankly, rivals the best of Indy. I discovered the secret to all fried foods at Carolina Grill(& the Tap Room) is their strict use of rice bran oil — leaves no oil flavor on the food at all. The fryers are cleaned by professionals twice a week. Enjoying watching Wisconsin vs Brigham Young right now — not so sure how it will end up, but I definitely know we’ll be back at the Tap Room for great food & drink soon! Rumored there’s a karaōke night — gotta bring the gang next!

A great place to enjoy a seasonal glass of wine. Has a pool table and darts, non smoking atmosphere with a unique Irish Pub feel. Many hard to find beers on tap,@

My wife and I have been to the Tap Room several times over the past year, mostly for karaōke, but also because it’s fairly close to home and they treat you really well. The staff at the Tap Room is great and every time we’ve been there, they have gone over the top to make us feel at home. We will be back!

This very nice bar is beneath the Carolina Grill, tucked back in the Stonegate subdivision. The first time I went there, was in the early afternoon, and I entered through the side door and descended the stairs to find the place empty, of both guests and staff. I thought i had entered before they were open. Sadly, the off-the-path location means they are kind of dead — they draw from the Stonegate subdivision and people that know about the place, but I expect they get no walk-up /drive-by traffic. I’ve been back a second and third time, and enjoyed myself. The bartenders(and also they cover the floor) are Crystal and Christopher. They are both experienced and professional. The food is the same as Carolina Grill(thus, a bit high end) and the drink prices are okay, but a little on the high side. However, the pours are not weak, and they have plenty of beer and wine selections. Seating is ample and there is a pool table, but I’ve never seen anyone shoot pool. I would give it five stars if it had a lively clientele, but alas, it seems to be a well-kept secret, or else an offshoot of Carolina Grill that is dying on the vine. You should check it out, and you will have excellent food and drink, but you better bring folks with you.
