This place is amazing!!! Its is next to the Travelodge Hotel in St. Stephens Green. The restaurant has only been open approx 6 weeks. Myself and my friend were staying in the Hotel last night and decided we didnt want to travel too far for Dinner as we were particularily hungry so we went into Amanda J’s and it was quite simply one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. The staff members especially our waitress Valia(V) were amazing. My friend had ordered the Caesar Salad and I had the Steak Sandwich. We were waiting a little longer than normal but we had wine to keep us entertained and were having a good gossip when the Manageress(Owner??) approached us and apologised for the delay in our order. We both said there was no problem at all as we knew the steak sandwich would take time but she insisted that we were to have complimentary desserts. The waitress Valia(apologies if spelt wrong) was such a delight to deal with. She was so attentive to the patrons in the restaurant and interacted with everyone. You dont find many people like her so she, in her own way, was a little gem. My experience in Amanda J’s was so good, I was back in there this morning for a good pot of tea and breakfast. Would I recommend this restaurant? 150MILLION% YES!!! Would I return within the month? I most definitely will be!!!
