I had the pleasure of enjoying a BakeMyCake chocolate biscuit cake last night! It was perfectly crafted and decorated to look like a Christmas Pud. And let me tell you… it was AMAZING! Seriously the best chocolate biscuit cake I have ever had… and thats really saying something! The whole thing was crunchy, not too sweet, and generously dunked in chocolate. I cant wait to try more of their wonderful creations! Bravo!

We first made contact with BakeMyCake by email and arranged for a wedding cake consultation the next day in their new Dundrum location. Met by Catherine in BMC Dundrum, we were brought through the options re types of cake, portion size, icing shade, ribbons. It was quite clear and thorough. By the end of it we had decided on most of what we wanted for a Wedding cake. On display are a good number of their cakes and they’re pretty impressive, you should get a good idea of what to expect. The only thing we were not sure of was what type of cake to pick for each tier. So given a box of cake samples to take home, we went away happy. We ordered the cake the following week, which included paying a deposit of 100EUR, which we was able to do over the phone. Same with the balance due. BMC delivered the cake for us, which was an extra 15EUR. Our cake of choice was the Ribbon and Pearls, 6−8−10, with ivory fondant and gold-coffee ribbon. The flavours we went for Lemon Sponge-Fruitcake-Chocolate Biscuit cake. It cost 390(not inc delivery) and it was worth every cent. The cake looked fantastic. The cakes tasted fantastic. Once we had picked the cake and paid the deposit, I knew there would be nothing to worry about and we were free to concentrate(and worry) about other things pre-Wedding. Thanks BakeMyCake.
