I fell in love with this place on a recent trip to Rome. A few days in a row, we stopped in for lunch. While they do make panini, we wanted to try a few different types of meats we don’t often get to in the US. We got a loaf of bread, a quarter kilo of deli meat(try the ventricina if you’re not familiar) and a bottle of wine for around € 15. They also sell cheese, truffles, dried and fresh pasta, sauces, and other wares of that variety. The staff is very helpful and friendly. If you’re in the rione of Monti, its worth a stop for a quick lunch.
