Really nice, quaint place for a westernized breakfast. Good good and great service(as always in Japan!). Had the farmers omelet with a croissant. My son has the eggs Benedict which was flavorful. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the ham was moist while the bread(not an English muffin — maybe homemade bread) but according to my son — amazing!!! Definitely a place to check out once while you’re in town. It’s rather pricey for breakfast. For one coffee, juice, omelet, eggs Benedict and pancakes it came to about $ 52 or so American $$. I definitely would not spend that in the states for a good breakfast but it wasn’t outrageous either. And it was delish so worth it for the experience. The servers were so attentive and so nice. We were there on a Friday about 1pm so it wasn’t too crowded at all.

Sarabeth’s was an absolute delight. The pancakes were absolutely out of this world. I had the salmon eggs benedict and they were quite tasty. The restaurant itself is quite charming, the food is really really great and the presentation of the dishes is impeccable. A small piece of advice: get there 20 – 30 minutes before opening hours on week-ends as everyone who got there after us had to wait. Overall, an enchanting experience!

I’m sorry, even though Sarabeth’s is super famous but I can only give it three stars. It is said that Sarabeth’s is the queen of brunch at New York. However, I can’t tell anything unique in this store. maybe I ordered the wrong one or maybe I had a way too demanding taste in that morning. Anyway, make a reservation all the time, if u wanna enjoy it in the busy Shinjuku at the right brunch time. I had Salmon Benedict, French toast and pancake. They are yummy indeed, but the expectation I set was too high initially. In an essence, they are just delicious but you won’t willing to spend another three hours waiting next time. Sorry Sarabeth’s, you pancake is just fine. But people said their scones are pretty good, maybe I will give it a try next time.

We’ve found a good breakfast/coffee shop difficult to find on our short stay in Tokyo, but this has bee. The best experience by far. They have sweet & savory choices(I only emphasize that because it seems most coffee shops we’ve found so far only accommodate the sweet tastes, whereas I prefer savory). Everything seems to be fresh & great quality, the service, as we’ve humbly found in many shops so far, is very sincere & friendly. We’ll definitely come back. どおも、ごちそうさまでした。^ -(^o^)

If you want a truly American, New York style, breakfast, you should try this place. When the place is jam packed, you will have to wait more than 30-minutes.

Amazing breakfast in Shinjuku station. Ricotta pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Lux omelet portion was large enough that my next meal was dinner and I wasn’t starving. I’m a huge coffee snob and this place delivered. Excellent cappuccinos. The apricot jam is a must. It is pricy so don’t be surprised with 40 – 50 $ breakfast for two. Also, there are a lot of people so be prepared to wait 15−20min. It’s located in Lumine 2. Enjoy!

Ok so Sarabeth’s is originally a restaurant from New York. I’ll be the first to say that finding a true«American» style breakfast place in Japan can be quite the task. But I think I’ve found one, or at least as close as you can get when your over 5000 miles away from the American mainland. So this place is basically in the Shinjuku station. Part of the Lumine Shopping center. It’s usually pretty busy but I’ve never waited for more than 10 or 15 minutes. So pluses on the wait time. The staff are super efficient and quick at what they do. And do, do it quick. Bam! You’re seated, Bam! They take your order, and Bam! Out comes comes the most beautifully presented orgasmic looking breakfast food you have ever seen. But I digress… So I’ve only tried the eggs Benedict. Every time I go. And that because it’s so frickin’ good. The morning/afternoon/drinkanytimebecauseyoureanalcoholic cocktails are pretty good too. It can be a bit pricy but it’s definitely worth it. 4 Hollandaise sauce covered stars~
