South Sea is the place to go for if you are craving for seafood! Located near Subang Airport, it is surprisingly a very busy restaurants. On all the times that I visited here, it is always full or almost full even on a weekday evening. Parking is easy as they have parking places for customers. I really LOVE the Crab with Salted Egg. We always request for extra salted egg because it is too good. Their Fried Rice is also something to try out. Other dishes that I recommend are baked escargots and yao zam fish. The staffs here are really polite and service is quite good overall. However, once a staff keep pushing us to order all the most expensive items in the restaurant which is quite annoying. Other than that, this place is perfect for fresh seafood.

Seafood is my passion since I was kid and probably till I die. Something I could hardly resist in any type of occasions. South Sea Seafood has been one of my favorite seafood restaurant in the nation. Highly recommended by many people including the food critics and unknown citizens. Located just next to the Subang Airport, this premise is not someplace that hard to find. At least once a year I make my trip to South Sea Seafood. The services are just the same with any other seafood restaurant. Just pick our own fresh seafood and let the chef do their jobs. As a matter of price, it’s kinda reasonable for seafood. You can’t expect them to cost you just like the McValue meals. These are some recommendations for you — Ikan Asam Steam, Chinese Fried Rice and Kam Heong Crab. As for other meals, I would go for the lobster. I just can’t help it. The surrounding here is nice. Plus, you could see everytime planes depart or land at the nearby airport.

A few months ago, it was my turn in the family to pick a venue for dinner. I was craving for seafood, but not just any. I wanted top-notch seafood, as fresh as can be. A friend of mine suggested South Sea Seafood. He said he’s been here a couple of times and the service and food here have always been excellent. So I decided to give them a call. No fuss at all, within minutes on the phone, I’ve got a table reserved for the weekend. This seafood restaurant is located near Subang Airport. Although the noise can be disruptive at times, you get to enjoy watching planes taking off. The place was established long ago and has kept the conditions of the restaurant up to date. And parking is never an issue here. There is an empty parking lot across the street that is free. When we came for dinner, it was really crowded. I guess because it’s the weekend and people are out having dinner. Regardless, I had reserved a table in advance and we were at our table within minutes. Although it was really packed, the waiter took our orders immediately and no mistakes were done. We had ordered a variety of dishes such as– butter crab, fried squid, garlic and pepper mantis prawn, some Yin Yong Kailan with white rice for the table. All of which was sensational to me. Everything was so fresh due to the live so called aquaria they have here. You can even take the time to walk about to the aquariums and have a look of all the seafood that is served here. The waiters here are well spoken, well mannered and helpful in informing customers of how some of the dishes are made. They’re even nice enough to provide the table with toothpicks and breath mints after a more than satisfying meal. Overall, South Sea Seafood maybe is a tad bit pricy. But you’d be paying for top-notch seafood, all served with delightful presentation. You can’t go wrong with the seafood here.
