We found this gem walking the streets close to the Hacienda Beach Club. The Artichoke Martini was cool and refreshing with the sweetness of Hypnotiq and the savory flare of fresh basil! Cream of Artichoke Soup was rich, tasty and large enough to share as a first course. The Caesar arugula salad had an amazing tasting dressing, rich in garlic. And the grilled shrimp were Incredibly fresh and flavorful, along with a size able portion of complementary grilled vegetables. And if you are a chocoholic, the molten lava cake with ice cream will not disappoint! Add stellar service(including a personal purse and jacket tree table side), and you have the recipe for a perfect dinner out. This will be a recurrent stop for me when visiting Cabo!

Not often a 5 star review, but from the wait staff, to the presentation to the amazing flavor this place surpassed them all! We had the grilled shrimp, cream of artichoke soup and the ever amazing chocolate fondant(molten chocolate cake)…so if you are in Cabo near the marina this place is a must go to! I have added pics of our meal.

The 6 people in our party give it 12 thumbs WAY up! Best meal we had on our trip. Worth a little splurge. The staff was very very kind and hospitable. The ambience was lovely. The food was bananas! Like off the charts. Cocktails — we tried the mojito and the pineapple margarita. Both excellent! Appetizers — grilled artichoke, complimentary bread plate(ask for some out-of-this-world chimichurri to dip it in– trust me). Entrees — it was all melt in your mouth wonderful. We had the short rib, lobster tail, fettuccini, filet mignon, rib eye roll. Dessert — we made ourselves make room and didn’t regret it. Caramel apple tart and chocolate lava cake. The menu changes with what is fresh and in season but I wouldn’t mind eating here ever single day(if someone else was paying sometimes). Definitely will be back. Do your mouth a favor and go!

This restaurant has nothing to do with Mexican food. Having said that, the food, service and ambiance are exemplary. Loved every morsel. Artichoke appetizer is excellent. Had grilled shrimp with grilled vegetables. Also, excellent. Chocolate molten cake for dessert spectacular. Bread basket was not great, but OK. Will go again.

Delicious food, amazing service. A wonderful evening. Off the main drag, quiet dining outside in a beautiful courtyard. The grilled artichoke appetizer was amazing. Homemade pasta and Catch of the Day(jurel) were perfect. Tasty cocktails(Basil martini and pineapple margarita) were spot on. Only sad we hadn’t found this place on earlier visits to Cabo. Definitely give it a try!

Went on a Monday night, when it was not at all busy. The food was some of the best I had in Cabo. Excellent house-made pasta, delicious artichoke preparations(especially the grilled artichoke), and very friendly and attentive waitstaff. For dessert, the tarte tatin with their vanilla ice cream was superb.

I came across this restaurant walking around near my hotel. I kept seeing the place and wanted to try something new and the menu looked appetizing upon reviewing it that I was game. The name of the place is about artichokes to which I had it grilled. There was a delicious caper dip over honey mayonnaise as well as a delicious sesame oil dip. I preferred the second one more as I’m not a huge caper fan. I next had a delicious Cesar Arugula salad. Light, delicious and fun. My main dish was Yellowtail which was the catch of the day. It’s nice to be so close to the water and try what is available just several hundred yards away. Fresh, flaky and tasty. The staff was kind and comforting and there was live music playing. The music was good and relaxing. I just felt so calm and at peace. It was my last dinner in Cabo and a great ending to my time there. A wonderful experience. I will definitely return!

From the moment we sat down, we knew this would be a special meal. The staff was ridiculously(but not over the top) attentive and helpful. The patio was perfect with the lighting, table décor and pianist providing music. And that doesn’t even touch on the best part — the food What can I say? From the perfectly grilled artchoke(the name of the restaurant is Artichoke Heart after all) to the octopus carpaccio to the red snapper, everything was delicious. Fresh, well seasoned and delightful.

The food, the service, the servers and everything, the music had to be a little better the Elton John. We will definitely come back to this place again in the future. They made a hot salsa for me and gave me beans instead of vegetables. This place is good!

This was a very nice discovery! Our plan was to have dinner at Edith’s down the road, but we were turned away because we did not have a reservation. Having to make reservations while on vacation seems counterintuitive, but now I know. So we had the opportunity to ditch our lingering crazy taxi driver(he must have been a stunt double in the Fast and Furious series) and wander around the neighborhood for an alternative. As we did so, a nice gentleman from this establishment invited us over to have a look at their menu. The menu was written on this large white erase board. Great for those who need bifocals but refuse to wear them as well as those who may have become too happy at happy hour. While the menu looked appetizing with reasonable prices, I must admit I was a little hesitant because the restaurant was empty. Nevertheless, we decided to roll the dice, and we scored! The outdoor courtyard looked very clean and modern, and when the lights were turned on at nightfall, it had a romantic quality to it. For us, the advantages of an empty restaurant were peaceful environment and wonderful service. The real surprise was that the drinks and food were also top notch. I had a pineapple margarita, and my mister had a fireball martini. I enjoyed my margarita and that martini was the best – I could easily have had one, two, three too many of those! A basket of fresh breads was served with some type of garlic sauce. I usually stuff myself with bread this good, but I exercised self control because I wanted to pace myself and make it all the way through to desert. As starters, I had an Arugala Cesear Salad and mister had Grilled Asparagus. My salad was delicious and very fresh, but that asparagus was the star, served with feta cheese, pecans, and mini crustini. My main dish was Grilled Jumbo Shrimp with grilled vegetables, and mister had Grilled Chicken with grilled vegetables. We split a side of mashed potatoes. It was all excellent, and I didn’t feel like I over ate myself into a food coma. Did I make it to desert? Kind of – I split an apple tartan with my mister. It too was wonderful! Served warm, with a little vanilla ice cream and berries on the side. The service was great too from the moment we walked in until we left. They pulled out my chair and seated me, gave me a stand to hang my purse, draped our napkins over our laps, kept the drinks filled, and gave us new/clean silverware with each course(I’m used to clinging onto my silverware). By the time we completed our dinner excursion, it was nightfall and several other patrons were coming into the restaurant. When it comes to dinner, I think me and my mister are now in that category called«Early Bird» diners, and so that is probably why the restaurant was empty. It certainly isn’t from lack of anything. From what we experienced, this is an excellent establishment with attention to detail and quality in food and service. Our host hailed us another crazy taxi driver, and we headed back to our hotel content and a little escared as we flew through the narrow streets of Cabo.

Best meal I’ve had in Cabo… and I’ve been there near 15 times. This place is great, the food is great, service is spectacular. And the FOOD! OMG. The grilled atrichoke is spectacular. The Fetuccini Alfredo is TODIEFOR. After my meal, I ordered a Don Julio Reposado… they ran out… here comes the Anejo, upgrade on the house. We’re going back in July and will definitely be going back, at least once.

We passed by this restaurant on our walk back to our hotel after dinner at another restaurant and it looked nice and there were not many reviews and the ones present were good. It was a disappointment it say the least. The concept of fresh and a changing menu is great but the dish selection was not great and I stay stick to Mexican food which is delicious or change recipes. My sister and I had short ribs and the guy said they were fatty but oh boy they were too fatty and just not pleasant. The artichokes which is their specialty and name of the restaurant were not tasty or meaty at all. The crab cakes were very small. They really need to do some work. It’s a nice looking place and the staff is nice but I would not go back anytime soon. We went to better and cheaper places.

What an amazing meal. Grilled artichoke was delicious. Also had sashimi and Mediterranean salad for starters. both seasoned to perfection. The warm mushrooms on the salad were great with the goat cheese. For entre we had grilled shrimp and the prk chop. The shrimp were the best ever and the pork chops were moist and yummy. The entire staff was amazing. Definite must try.

Very good. Worth the money. Get the grilled artichoke starter. The special cut meat and shrimp arriabiatta were both very good. Nice bar too. Take your time and enjoy.

We Loved Corazón de Alcachofa Restaurant in Cabo San Lucas. We ran into this restaurant while looking for Edith’s Restaurant. We were invited in by a very nice young man. He showed us the menu and told us the specials for the day. We decided to give it a try. We sat in a beautiful outdoor garden like setting. The food was fantastic!!! The service was excellent. We felt welcome and were well taken care of for the night. We started out with their homemade bread. It was delicious. I had the a yummy pasta dish and my husband had one of the meat specials of the day. The portions were perfect. We also enjoyed a couple of their tasty margaritas including one of their special Jalapeño Margaritas. Corazón de Alcachofa Restaurant is a must visit place when visiting Cabo san Lucas. I have a few friends heading down to Cabo in December and we will certainly give them the address and phone number for Corazón de Alcachofa Restaurant. Here is their FB Page
