We ate at Esteban’s our first night in Cabo because it was right next to our hotel and the Unilocal reviews spoke highly of it. Upon walking in, the aroma of sizzling steaks smelled really good. It has a hole in the wall feel, but we figured it must be good because many locals were there having dinner parties and it was quite busy for a Saturday evening. My husband wanted shrimp ceviche as an appetizer but the waiter ‘highly recommended’ an 8 piece variety shrimp platter. He even said«like jumbo shrimp the size of my finger». Totally not jumbo shrimp. And it was the most expensive item on the menu. 8 pieces of shrimp for 400 pesos(about $ 25 U. S). 2 walnut, 2 chipotle, 2 bacon wrapped, and 2 garlic. Not worth it at all. For our entrée, I ordered the three taco plate(two shrimp and one flank steak) and my husband ordered the flank steak burrito platter, which came in three also. Tacos were so-so, burritos were better, but the best thing IMO was the side of frijoles and guacamole. Our bill was about $ 50 U.S. and it wasn’t really worth it. Food was decent, but thought service could have been better.

BESTFOODINCABO. AWESOMESERVICE. We stayed at the Marriott right next door and were recommended to visit this place. This is truly a hidden gem if there ever was one in Cabo. This was our first restaurant to visit but after having eaten out many different places we happily came back to this great place. All the waiters are super friendly. Great local atmosphere. Amazing food which tastes like heaven and very good drinks. This is a must visit when in Cabo. Hope to come back soon!

I came here two times while staying next door and was happy with both experiences! The people who worked there were very friendly and funny to chat with. We got a free drink(we chose margaritas) for staying at the Marriott– BONUS! We ordered the mixed seafood civche and guacamole– both were huge servings and very very very tasty(& fresh!!) The second time we went, we were there around brunch time– I ordered breakfast(Chilaquiles with chorizo, comes with rice and beans) and the BF ordered three tacos plate(with Steak, Al Pastor and shrimp– also comes with rice and beans)… They were amazing! Simple yet delicious. And not expensive! There was never a crowd, so it was easy to get into. And, they have karaōke– extra bonus.

I was craving lobster and Esteban’s was supposed to have it. We get there the waiter says it’s not on the menu, but they’d make it! Turns out they’re out, which is fine so I did the crab plate. They do not skimp on the crab! Very good and great price. A huge crab plate dinner, tacos, a beer, and two pineapple juices later for $ 25usd or $ 340 pesos!

This place is one of the best kept secrets in Cabo San Lucas. It is right next to the hotel we stayed in, the Fairfield Inn Marriott. You can dine in, take away or have them deliver. It has open air outdoor dining or you can eat indoors. We came in as the sun was setting and decided to eat outside, the server Juan Carlos approached us right away for our drink order. This time me and wifey were on our monthly ceveche fix so we perused the menu for it. Juan Carlos recommended something not on the menu called the«ceveche peron», he said we could share it and it would be more than enough. Holy crap! The big ass ceveche plate he brought had shrimp, calamari, scallops and octopus. And it was chilled which in my opinion is the only way to eat ceveche. They had a shit ton of choices for hot sauce, which I enjoyed with my ceveche. Juan Carlos was mad chill, super friendly, patient and very helpful with any questions we had. I heard they have Badass karaōke sessions which we weren’t there for, next time will give them a sample of my Frank Sinatra voice. The Cuba Libre I ordered was perfect, wifey enjoyed her Vodka Soda. If your staying at the Fairfield Inn this is a must, if your in Cabo a while and don’t mind the 15 minute walk from the marina I recommend giving it a chance. If anyone goes for the karaōke let me know how it is!

Muy Bueno! After spending a lazy day walking around Cabo we considered ordering some food for delivery. Since we couldn’t find the phone number to this place we decided to walk the 1 minute walk next door from our hotel(Fairfield Inn). It’s literally next door. We were greeted and asked if we would like to dine inside or out. We chose to sit outside as the weather was beautiful. The ambiance is great btw. We were offered a free drink of our choice because we were staying at the hotel next door. Any drink… beer, wine, margarita, VODKA! How awesome is that?! Free is my favorite flavor after all. Our waiter, Juan Carlos did such a great job. We told him what we were looking for and he put a great meal together for Cesar Q. and I. We had a mixed seafood ceviche plate. The sauce served with it was incredible. The ceviche included fresh shrimp, scallops, white fish and octopus. It was mixed with lime, tomatoes, red and white onion and cilantro. Such a great combination. Boy did we feel special! This wasn’t on the menu so they made it special for us. How sweet is that?! The chips and salas were fresh and a great addition to our entrée. The food was great and the service was top notch! I know we will be back before we leave town. Juan Carlos gave us other suggestions on what to order next time. They do offer delivery to the hotel. Only catch is you have to pay cash/peso when having delivery. Makes sense considering they probably don’t have a portable credit card machine.
