I’m not a pastry fan but Odette is just amazing and I go there often. This is Warsaw’s first boutique pastry workshop and café. There is a big choice of cakes, cookies, chocolates and pralines. The interior is very stylish and modern. You can watch chefs preparing little pieces of art just in front of your eyes. Everything is delicious. If you haven’t been there — it’s a must!

Usually it’s difficult for me to leave my house on a sunday evening, specially during polish winter! — But I’m glad I did. There was some buzz about this new place and if you appreciate an elegant touch, intimacy and unique desserts, this is the place. On a sunday evening you cannot expect a huge variety of desserts but it’s enough! We chose: marakuja/czekolada mleczna/wanilia + Manjari 64%. Conclusions: the fruit and the mix of chocolate/mil/vanilla makes it so soft that melts in your mouth! Also the Manjari, although with 64% of chocolate, is a super soft mousse w/the right balance not to be that sweet. I wanna return there and try the rest, even though if its around 12−15zl per dessert. Has a big fan of sweets, Polish cuisine doesn’t present a big variety for me so places like this are a breeze of fresh air. Dislike: lamps on the table are too low, has a lot of reflection in our face!

Odette is a small but very elegant place in the middle of Warsaw. Sophisticated desserts that not only look great, but also are very tasty! The interior is well air-conditioned and kept in pastel colours, perfect for a really hot day. As we were sitting there, many people came and fethced their orders — looks like Café Odette war a kind of a pop-up store for a bigger confectionery manufacturer. The production takes place on-site and you can have a look inside throigh a glas door. Interesting! Generally a very nice place, could be a bit cheaper though and the service a bit more attentive …

I am a pastry fanatic, a real pastry snob, I admit. In every country I visit, pastry shops are always high up on the to do list. I was ecstatic to learn of this new place in Warsaw. I have visited most of the high end pastry shops in the Polish capital but this one really stands out. It is a bit difficult to find but don’t give up, it is in, what looks like, an office building and the only sign you can see is Odette on the front door. This place is visually stunning and the pastry displayed with great respect. There are some tables inside where one can enjoy the pastry with a nice tea or coffee. I bought a few pieces and appreciated the fact that the little trays were taped to the bottom of the box to prevent from sliding. I really don’t understand some well known pastry shops that don’t do that. Everything I tasted was delicious, with delicate flavors that did not overwhelm. They also had great macaron that my son proclaimed to be better than Pierre Herme. I regret not being able to stay in Warsaw for a few more days just to be able to taste everything at Odette. I am already looking forward to my trip there in July. I wish Odette lots of well deserved success. Fantastyczne!
