Hotel Panorama by Rhombus

I stayed for 4 nights in the executive club (35^th floor). The view is spectacular! I love views like this, so for me, the room was worth it simply for the view. The cleaning personnel were fantastic, and my room was always clean. The breakfast buffet I found mostly inedible. The scrambled eggs were not nearly as good as some of the pics posted by others on Unilocal.Even my omelette (which I special ordered) was not very good. The last few days I simply went out for breakfast. Overall, service was good, and prices are good for this hotel. If business takes me to Hong Kong, I will be back, as the location and view is fantastic. LOTS of great restaurants within a very short distance! Metro station very close as well. Recommended!!! Wi-​fi fast as well!

Great hotel and loved the location! It’s so close to shopping balls (K11), subway/​MRT, close walk to many many shops. If you go to the Sky Garden on the 38^th floor or something around that, you’ll have a gorgeous view of the Victoria Harbor.
Room itself was small but clean and the view from the 16^th floor was nice. Their wifi is actually fast! Breakfast buffet was ok. You might want to skip that and just eat something around the hotel to experience an authentic HK style breakfast. Service at the front desk was meh, they kept letting UPS pilots cut ahead of us. Other than that, decent and clean hotel in close proximity to many things.

Stayed here for about 9 days and they had some of the rudest front desk and concierge staff I’ve ever experienced. I would kindly ask concierge for directions to places and they would give me attitude and wrong information. I would ask the front desk questions and they would either not understand me or give me attitude and a poor response. When I was checking out not one staff standing outside of the hotel or at the luggage desk would help move my family’s luggage to my friend’s car. They all just stood there trying to look away. Too bad for them because I usually tip very well.
The only redeeming quality about this hotel were the cleaning ladies for the rooms. They were at least nice and willing to help and did a good job with room service. And I guess the location is good for a decent price but don’t expect much in terms of quality of service. Oh and they nickle and dime you for everything even just using the computers at the business centre. Definitely better alternatives out there.

I travel to Hong Kong often, and this is where my company puts me. This hotel is located in Kowloon, across the harbor from Hong Kong Island itself. There are oodles of noodles to be eaten in the local restaurants, and lots of shopping nearby.
The rooms are tired and small, but they’re kept clean. The noise levels are minimal, and since I’m a day sleeper, quiet is quite important. The breakfast buffet is good, and there are two restaurants to choose from for that. The fitness room is newly remodeled. It’s cramped, but do-​able.

Hotel Panorama by Rhombus is a hotel with a gorgeous view. I stayed here back in November 2013 during my layover for Manila. It’s located in TST and has a panorama view of Hong Kong on the the 34^th floor. The service is great and there’s free breakfast provided in your hotel stay. It’s about 40 minutes from the airport.
It’s right next to a number of malls and a few blocks from HK’s Hollywood walk. The view of the Victoria Harbour is at the Sky Garden on the 40^th floor if I remember correctly. There’s a lounge on the 39^th floor for Executive Club members. They provide free breakfast, coffee, and personalized service. There are two guest relations desk. One at the hotel lobby and the other on the 39^th floor. I had to check into the Lobby first then go up to the 39^th floor to get my room key.
The rooms are pretty small but they offer a great view of the Victoria Harbor and city. It’s clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. They provide two different types of plugs which is great.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back the next time I’m in HK. Everyone spoke English which is a huge since I could barely speak Cantonese anymore. It was a great place to stay for my first trip back since I was born in Hong Kong.

Panorama is a high quality/​value hotel at a fantastic location, half a block away from K11, mtr, Hyatt, Holiday Inn and several others. It is moderately new, about the same age as the Hyatt. But the building is kind of a Hongkong special, skinny and quite tall. And it has great harbour view rooms, better than the other hotels mentioned here. The rooms are small, but pretty well organized. Shower only. It is very clean.
The lobby buffet is pretty good, and the roof restaurant has good specials as well. Other restaurant choices are countless nearby, including at K11. Room prices are about 30−35% less than Holiday Inn. And about 40% less on specials. The rooms have a good feel. It is a pleasant establishment that runs a good show. For longer stays in HK I like to book this hotel for part of the stay to average down the cost. I’ve stayed for many years and enjoyed it.

Let me inform you that this is not a 5 or even 4 star hotel, do not be fooled. It’s a decent hotel and is relatively clean. The restroom is tiny and floods due to the decent water pressure. They do not offer enough towels to compensate for the flooding which is incredible frustrating. No one wants to have to clean up their own hotel restroom. The ventilation is nonexistent in the restroom so try not to take a long steamy shower. The service is good so overall not a bad hotel.
Location is perfect for being smack dab in the middle of TST. It is also 2 short blocks away from a fantastic snack shack called Wah Kee. You must try it! It is also conveniently located right next to the MTR.
