3.5 stars. Ahhh Hong Kong. Despite all your western influences, your American breakfast dishes still leave me wanting. Perhaps they don’t use the same grease to cook it? Or perhaps they just can’t get their hands on the best English muffins. This place is a tad better than some of the other places. It is accessible from the back of the nearby mall, at the street level, but some directions would lead you into the mall. Do not go inside. The front is a little inconspicuous for a busy district, and its signage can easily get lost amongst all the things going on around it. First and foremost, there is no coffee shop in Hong Kong without food. Sure, you can just get coffee too, but that always seem to take a back seat to food, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or tea. I came here to have lunch with friends, and we ordered the eggs Benedict and a vegetarian breakfast, with portobello, tomatoes and spinach. All dishes came with a salad dressed with balsamic dressing. The food was average, with the eggs Benedict less bland than the vegetarian breakfast. Seriously, why would I eat out just to have some vegetarians grilled on a hot plate, which I can easily do myself? However, comparing to other similar foods I’ve had in Hong Kong, this place is not too shabby. I’ve just been too spoiled by living in a foreign country. As for the coffee, the espresso was so-so. It was bitter and required more sugar than I liked. The atmosphere of this little coffee shop is nice, and it was a good hangout place with friends, even if a bit cramped.

This little coffee shop is conveniently located next to the K11 mall in TST. Coffee shops are becoming a very popular phenomenon in Hong Kong. Alone within 2 — 3 minutes walking distance of this place there are an additional 3 — 4 coffee shops. The interior is quite stylish, the staff friendly and knowledgeable. All the classic coffee drinks are on the menu with a few innovative additions like a sweet potato latte. They also serve brewed coffee served in 2 different wine glasses. The small one is to taste and the larger one to stick your nose in to smell the coffee aroma. It’s a nice gimmick. I haven’t drunk brewed for a long time. I tried the Panama Esmeralda which was very good. In general the barista know what they’re doing! There’s free water on the table which I think is a very good idea. In addition they also have a decent selection of snacks, sandwiches and salads. The only let down is that they don’t have restrooms. You have to go to the K11 for that. Still I am sure to return!

Great little coffee place with an amazing selection of delicious coffee, great food and friendly service. A little gem in the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui neighborhood. I’m running out of adjectives to describe their soft brewed coffee, you have to try yourselves. You get to smell the ground beans before they brew it. Paired with their impeccable breakfast it’s also a very good option for brunch.

Very small menu but good food. We had the big brekky, truffle fries and an Americana. The truffle mayo with fries was amazing. I love strong coffee do the Americana was great. I think strong flavored coffees is difficult to find unless you make it yourself. Their coffee however was delicious! We enjoyed what we ate, however, the menu was just very, very small. Two breakfast options, 3 burger options and a few other things. But what they did have looked yummy.

Not a great place to order a brewed coffee, when you really need one. Slow and… well they come in wine glasses.

A lovely little getaway amongst the hustle and bustle of TST. You can still hear the loud car noises from the street when the door opens but otherwise a lovely little café. We popped in here for refreshment after the Christmas market at the Mariners Club. I can’t say whether their coffee is good as I don’t drink the stuff(didn’t hear any complaints from friends) but then did have a nice selection of non coffee beverages, including chocolate, pumpkin latte, and tea, either hot or ice. Their ice chocolate was lovely and refreshing and not too rich which I liked. They have their menus in old science-y books which I think is awesome and they look to have a great selection of eats, maybe next time I will try some. They also sell their own coffee beans, mugs and mason jars along with their own shampoos(possibly coffee based but I didn’t check) Staff were lovely and friendly and left us to it.
