I work in central and was craving sushi for lunch today so hopped online to see what was around. Wasabi warriors came up and the reviews looked okay. Was hoping for some cheap (er) sushi that I could take back to the office. The place has a nice feel to it and was happy that it wasn’t packed by any means during lunch hour.
While there are some decent lunch/​set options, I opted to try a few of their tuna, scallop, and salmon sushi along with a tuna + avocado wrap.
Result: not great, not bad. A solid option for a quick craving but it’s not particularly cheap not particularly good. The rice is a little on the wet side and fish was mediocre.
Will I go back? Maybe, but will also try out some of the other options nearby first :)

Great range of tasty and creative flavors! Some items are more «traditional» sushi, but others are a bit more modern/​fusion to give the restaurant more of an edge (if it wasn’t obvious from the name). It’s all really good and I’ve been very pleased with all of my choices when I can finally decide what to order.
Today I stopped in to just grab an appetizer before an office lunch. After surveying all of the options 2 – 3 times, I went with the Crumbed chicken with avocado and spicy mayo, and a seared teriyaki salmon. The crumbled chicken satisfied my craving for something heartier and had a nice little kick with the spice. The seared salmon was fresh and light and I really liked the teriyaki flavors.
Of course, I was left wishing I had ordered a few more rolls, but there’s always next time… or later today for an afternoon «snack».
