Just an average 9 screen multiplex formally a UGC cinema but it now a Cineworld cinema since their city centre cinema opened they have started to show more Bollywood movies and less Blockbusters so sometimes big movies are not shown in the cinema that much for example The Impossible. It has free easy parking and is close to places to eat.

This really is jus t a generic multiplex built out of town. Not a fan. Very expensive and I wouldnt bother even thinking about food. But it does show most of the films i want to see and I guess thats what its there for.

There are a few cinemas in Aberdeen and this is probably the one i’m least impressed with. It is a large cinema and has more screens than any other. I must say though, the leg room seems to be non existant and i’ve found the chairs are a lot less comfy than others. They show a variety of films, but these tend to appear at silly times that just aren’t convenient for anyone. They are the latest films to come out though so shouldn’t complain that much. The food here is very expensive along with the cinema tickets themselves. You’re talking over £20 for two of you to go and have some food. This is probably what puts me off the most. It is conveniently located for anyone that drives, but if you don’t drive you’ve a long walk from the bus stop to the cinema and then back again later on. Worth a try if you’re at the beach anyway, if not, i’d pick a different cinema.

Easy parking and closeness to several eating houses makes this cinema more appealing. Everything else about it is just normal and average for cinemas — expensive food and drink. Situated down by the beach front beside the amusement arcade and the restaurants & cafes.
