I have heard a lot of good things about the Bubble Room from friends that live over in Cheshire so was excited to try it. However it didn’t live up to my expectations. To start with they were playing house music which lets face it is so dated. Anywhere that plays house music loses a point from me. The clientele were there to pose and be seen which is definitely not my sort of thing. On the plus side the drinks were more reasonable than expected and they had made a real effort with the décor. I’m so glad we didn’t eat here as the music was so loud we wouldn’t have been able to hear each other speak over the sounds of David Guetta.

Any trip back Cheshire way is just not complete without popping in to Bubbles! The atmosphere is awesome and the waiting staff have always been lovely to me! The food is always great and they do a good mixture of healthy and not :) I tend to stick with the Caesar salad when I go though — can’t be beat! The cocktails are delicious and not at all expensive for Alderley Edge! My favourite thing about this place is definitely the décor! It’s such a nice lounge-type place to hang out during the day or at night! Definitely check out the ceiling in the back room too — it’s made completely out of light bulbs!!!

Came here Friday night for post-dinner drinks. Very happening and busy venue with plenty of atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly and service brisk. Definitely recommended.

Tastefully decorated, love the black pudding especially for brunch, great weekly happy hour and specials. Decent place to hang with friends over a drink.

Went there today for breakfast with 2 friends and loved everything about it! Great location, professional service and lovely food. The décor is gorgeous with big, leather armchairs and beautiful lights. I can imagine it to get quite busy on the weekends with live music playing. Not sure what the rest of the menu is like but the breakfast is definitely to be recommended.

We went there for a family meal in April 2010. My family ordered a selection of different meals, and we all agreed they were very bland and over-salted. Those of us that had meals with chips and fried parsnips were treated to cold, soft and limp portions instead of crispy. As regards to puddings, the cheesecakes seemed more like angel delight on top of a biscuit base; the apple tartar had a burnt base and thus very bitter/Furthermore, we had to wait a very long time for our food, with the waiter getting one order completely wrong. All this to the sound of a very drunk party of alderley edge stereotypical men with one blabbing how much he fancied his kid’s nanny. Anyway, as I said they food was very bland and for an average of £12 per main course we were all very disappointed.

Had lunch here quite a few times and it’s been very pleasant each time. The room at the back with all the light bulbs dangling like bubbles is really pretty and it’s the sort of place you can go with friends, work or just your Mum. Good selection on the menu and all arrived quickly, bar area is also nice to sit in, there are a range of seating options.

Lovely bar and restaurant with 2 rooms, both for eating but the front room with the bar gets very busy at night. Lively atmosphere on weekend nights, with good loud music and lots of people. Even some footballers been seen in here. Also good seating area outside for the smokers. Lots of different age groups too.
