Cubana

Well, Cubana’s is infamous.
When I first moved to Barry and I told people where I lived they put on a mock Barry accent and screeched, «you going to Cubana’s isiiiiit?‘
Probably the only real bar/​club of its kind in Barry (aside from the Savoy, which is an absolute dive) Cubana’s is the only place to go if you’re staying local on a Friday and Saturday night.
The people it attracts are diverse, from the chaviest of chavs to mutton dressed as lamb, the place has a real club 18 – 30 vibe to it. If that’s your scene then this is the place to be.
The outside smoking area is actually pretty good and in summer can be absolutely packed to the rafters, in the winter months however, it can be very lonely indeed.
Cubana’s is like that holiday to Magaluf you had. Cheap, a bit tacky, but with a good time at the heart of it.
