I’ve eaten here many times with my family and we always enjoy it. They have a good selection on the menu, the staff are always fantastic and it’s not over the top pricey.
If you like steak — as I do — this is a great place to come! I can’t think of anywhere in Basingstoke that serves a better steak.
Tip — you’ll probably need to book in advance, if you’re hoping to visit at the weekend.

this place really is great, we often visit with our kids and the food is always served fresh and hot, the staff are very helpful and there to help, the menu isnt that big but you still have a wide selection of foods, and the puddings are to die for! in the week they do a good deal and its 3 courses for about £13 so great if there are a few of you, i always have the steak here and its cooked to perfection. you are best to book your table here as they do get quite busy especially in the summer. i find that it can take a while to get served at the bar here if you just want a drink but if you are eating they will bring it to your table, overal a great freindly place with cheap good grub

a basic flame grill pub fayre. Bit on the pricy side for what you get and the menu doesnt change much all year. The up side — at least you know it will be steak or similar

I really like it here as it is very child friendly and has plenty of private spacious tables to sit at. The food is pricey but it is good quality. They serve mainly steaks, burgers etc and have a children’s menu.
The food arrives reasonably quickly but if you have children who don’t like waiting too long (like my son) you may be best taking something with you to keep them entertained. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it has a nice quiet atmosphere so a good place for couples too.
