I’m a regular visitor to George Best City Airport and I’m regularly there pre 7am so Costa Coffee has proved to be extremely useful too me to ensure I don’t collapse with tiredness before I even get through security.
As I’ve eluded to, this Costa is before security and I think I tipped that it had a huge comfy seating area upstairs that is an ideal place to wait for friends, family or indeed business colleagues to disembark their flight.
Apart from that it’s a pretty standard Costa, you’ll get different styles of coffee for around £2.50 and there’s always pre made pastries on offer. Decent service, especially when you consider how early some of the staff have to get out of bed!

A great branch of Costa on two levels inside the airport building opposite WH Smith. It’s usually quite busy but, if you can’t find a seat downstairs, there’s usually more space on the higher level. As with all branches of Costa there’s a mouthwatering range of coffees and snacks, both savoury and sweet. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Definitely the best place to wait before your flight!
