Yum! The Cuban Sandwich Factory is now in it’s own premises at the end of Queens Arcade opposite the newsagents. When we arrived on Friday about 1pm the queue was right out the door, a friendly member of staff was taking orders & payment from the queue which meant by the time you reached the front your order was almost ready to go. We opted to perch ourselves at one of the few areas to eat in. There were 5 of us eating so got to sample a few different sandwiches and could honestly say they were all delicious. Meat was juicy & tender, the mince in the sloppy joe was melt in your mouth. The others are going back today today(Tuesday) but unfortunately I am stuck in work or would be there too!

I was king advocate for this cuban food shack when they were in St. George’s. Now they’ve branched out and fair play to them. In my eyes, I think the quality has decreased and the new guy who makes the food cannot understand English therefore muddles up the orders. Still decent food though. Food on Joe

A hidden gem in the heart of Belfast. located at the back of a newsagents, the Cuban sandwich factory could be easily missed but once found it will not be easily forgotten. If your hungry at lunchtime, this is the place to go. The sandwiches are huge and fully packed. I had the Cuban key West, a spicy version of the more traditional Cuban. Stacked with pulled pork, spicy salami, mustard and Swiss cheese, it really hit the spot. They also have a selection of rice dishes which looked great. Would be 5 stars but for the lack of seating

The first time I visited the Cuban sandwich factory it was difficult to find because it was inside a newsagents but I glad that I didn’t give up the sandwiches are awesome and I highly recommend the Latino hotdog

I’d recommend you give Cuban Sandwich factory a go! As other reviewers have mentioned it is a nice alternative to your usual lunch time sandwich. Set within Lecky’s newsagents on Ann Street I suggest you keen your eyes peeled for the sandwich board as you won’t be able to spot the sandwich counter from the street. Their £5 menu is hard to beat in terms of taste but it might leave you feeling a little peckish. If you’re a first timer then I would go for the classic cuban — it is a nice gateway cuban sandwich. Otherwise I would go for the Sloppy Joe — it’s packed with steak and chorizo and as the name suggests can get messy so I’d grab a few extra napkins on your way out of the store. One thing to note is that CSF does not have any inside seating facilities although they have plonked a few tables outside the newsagents for you to enjoy your sandwich alfresco. All in all a great wee store and a nice a lunch time alternative. There’s a few of these wee stalls popping up around Belfast — I noticed one at the new Lagan Weir Bridge.

It’s something different from the usual sandwich places about Belfast and well worth a try. You have a choice of six sandwiches, all in either soft or crunchy roll that get toasted. Meats in the sandwiches include spicy pulled beef, barbecoa chicken, salami and pulled ham. Downside is that it was quite small for five pounds a sandwich. It’s set in the newsagents so you may have to grab a bag of crisps whilst you are there too.
