I like this store it’s a good size and has a fantastic range of children’s clothes and they wash well. Also has a good selection of petite trousers which I find difficult to get in other stores.

I called into the next store on Tuesday evening to purchase a gift for a friend who I was meeting up with and was running late. The assistant on the tills, Catriona, was extremely helpful as she got me wrapping paper, sellotape and a pen so I was able to leave the store with my card written and present wrapped. Very good service from a very friendly assistant!

Great discounts for all and quality of clothes seem very good. Purchased a couple shirts I have had a difficult time finding elsewhere.

Next stores will always be engrained on my mind due to their 6am sale starts. Standing in a ridiculous queue, with hundreds of other insane shoppers who braved the frosty weather to get a bargain. Madness. The next store situated at Boucher Retail Park hasn’t the same level madness attached to it but is relatively bulging with promise and purchases. The Next clothing is range has always received great reviews as its washing quality is outstanding as well as the fit and finish of garments. You do pay for these finer details though, hence why there’s such a rush at winter and summer sales. This store is well laid out with simple floor plans to promote products and key lines. The mannequins are always well dressed with a great array of accessories to match the themed outfits. What I always like about this store in particular is the range of footwear they have on display. They always have numerous size four and fives which are the popular choice for ladies of all ages.

I made the mistake of recently going to Next one Saturday and unbeknown to me it was the start of the Next Sale. Now for those who are unaware of the infamous ‘Next Sale Festival’, let me break it down for you. Imagine the stampede scene in the Lion King or Jumanji, only except the animals are a bunch of old women who would steal the clothes from you in the changing rooms. It is pretty much as close to a fashion-concious re-enactment of the American Civil War as you are going to get anywhere in the world. If you have the unfortunate displeasure of finding yourself within the stampede, do what Simba did and run away, However during the non-sale periods Next is quite a relaxing place to shop. It has a large selection of men, women and even children’s clothes so you could spoil all the family(if you really like them that much). The clothes are trendy, up to date and«chic»(I don’t what that is but I heard Trinny and Susannah say it once and because both of them look like a couple of WWE wrestlers, I’ll use it too). The price tag is a bit of a kick in the face, a tad expensive if you’re a student, but if you need something respectable that won’t collapse in the washing machine, then Next is a good shout. Being located in Boucher Road gives the advantage of a right bit of car-parking(unless of course the stampede is on in which case you should bring a packed lunch and a deck chair and watch from a tower).
