Oh pies. Pies and pastry. And sandwiches. Chicken and mango flavour fillings. Gingerbread men. Cupcakes. Breakfast muffins and lattes.
Where offers all these goodies, you ask? None other than Greggs. And the one in Birkenhead is pretty spectacular.
WIth regular lunchtime deals it’s a great place to head when the clock reaches 12pm and you’re feeling a mite peckish. Wash your sandwich/​pastry/​sausage roll down with a fizzy beverage of your choice and a packet of Walkers.
Not the healthiest of places to go too but still great. What I love about this particular store is the friendly staff. Some of the best people I’ve ever been served by.
