The Art Bus is a very appealing idea, especially for those who living far from the city centre and sometimes it’s just impossible to catch up with exhibitions held in the city.
The interesting about the tour is the «Galleries Night» when you can visit The Barber Institute, MAC, Ikon Gallery, RBSA and Eastside Projects in one single day-(at night, in fact) and for free!
This bus tour runs during the week, from 5pm to 9pm, taking you to finest art galleries of Birmingham.
As it’s usually a very popular kind of tour, especially in the summer, the best thing is always planning the journey in advanced to have a place guaranteed in this fascinating tour.

If you love art and exploring the city, then I heartily recommend you keep an eye out for the Art Bus. It runs at various points throughout the year, travelling around the city’s key arts destinations. Stops include: The Barber Institute, Mac, Ikon Gallery, Eastside Projects and the RBSA.
The bus runs evenings only, meaning that you can fit in a whole lot of gallery hopping after finishing work. The galleries stay open until 9pm and most will lay on light refreshments and special talks. The best bit? All of this is FREE!
There is an Art Bus tour scheduled for 30 May 2012 and it will return in December for a festive run. Make sure you check out the timetable and plan your tour in advance.
