Aspire Lounge

Aspire lounge should be fantastic, from outside the glass doors look like they will lead you to a promised land, unfortunately what is on the other side is very disappointing, we read the sign saying anyone was welcomed no matter who you was flying with, well that was a lie, the reception area still looked promisingly plush, but the lady who checked us in said «£21 each, that’ll be £42 for both of you!!» I actually felt she was judging us ! We wasn’t asking her to do us a favour, we was paying good money to use her lounge.
So what did our £42 get? Dirty tables with spilt sugar and sticky cup rings, crisps spilled on the floor, sour faced staff, we found a table that looked clean enough for us to sit at, although it was in need of a wipe with a damp cloth, plenty of staff were wandering around do I don’t know why it was so grotty in here. One member of staff did manage a smile, the others looked sour faced.
Oh yes you have acess to tea, coffee, soup, wines and spirits, help yourself from the coffee machine or bottles of whiskey and wine, but unless you have a good 3 or 4 hours to spare and will genuinely get your moneys worth I’d say don’t bother.
It’s less of an aspirational lounge and more like a motorway services.
