I can appreciate that a Weatherspoons located in an airport is unlikely to set your neurons firing in the same way a near death encounter or a large influx of unadulterated opiates into your blood stream might, but as pre flight thirst quenching /nerve suppressing goes then this one isn’t too shabby. Situated on the mezzanine you can look down upon your fellow travellers as they endure the airport grind sans alcohol while you enjoy the solace of your ethanol infused beverage. Seating is ample, service for our party was efficient and friendly and the prices weren’t overly inflated either. I’m from the South mind you, those who hail from north of Watford may be up in arms about the price of their ale for all I know. They have a TV at either end which I guess just serves up sports endlessly, the rugby was showing when we were in. They also have flight information boards which include estimated transit time through security so you have one less excuse for missing your flight.
